The Red Lions are a group of members who work together to make Hack Forums a better place. We protect the marketplace, report spam, illegal products, and sales trashers. We help each and every member with all aspects of Hack Forums by knowing every rule, policy, and detail within the Help Docs. We are well versed in various subject areas with the intent of helping the community. Red Lion members are expected to conduct themselves maturely forum-wide, with no exceptions. We do not endorse any form of trolling or inappropriate content. We've gained what we have given: respect. With that we turn average members into Red Lions.

How can you contribute to the group?
Activity, money, basic things that most groups need in order to stay active. The same thing a lot of groups are missing and end up dying from. Activity, activity, activity. This is probably one of the only groups I have ever applied for as I did back in the day. Only being kicked from the group because of my account being locked out of.
Basically I can bring whatever you need to the group. If you go through any of my previous posts, yes you will find some light hearted goofing off in certain sections, but you can also find me trying to help people around the site that might not know HF too well. Or find those who are in need of help because of scammers in the market place. Or perhaps within the iOS section (my old stomping grounds). Basically over all, I can be of help to anywhere on the form that I have knowledge within, and make sure to uphold the Red Lion name.
I am capable of making tutorials and helpful threads as indicated by my previous threads/tutorials/help desks listed below. (yes they are somewhat old, but only to prove a point)
What does the Red Lion name mean to you?
It means pride. Actually being proud to be in a group and wearing a userbar. It's a constant, seeming as it has been the group that has stayed throughout the years and has not changed regardless of what is going on on HF. When I was first in it, it really was a family. You could actually talk to the users, no expect trolling and actually get help on both forum issues and personal issues. Pride. Family. A constant. Infinite. Loyalty, something that nokia showed to the site in his time he was able to spend here.
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week?
I work 3 days on, 4 days off. So 4 days of my time and any time after or before work if needed.
I know my application isnt huge by any means, but a chance to join Red Lions again is a reason to actually apply for a group and want to be active. Thanks for at least considering.

How can you contribute to the group? I can contribute to the group in a few different mannerisms. First and foremost, I have some decent experience in regards to leading a group and operating the ins-and-outs; thus, I know the necessity of active members. On top of that, I have taken a significant interest in regards to Crypto investing and have joined an array of Discord and Telegram groups who discuss options and investment advice. The contributions to the group would be consistent and constant; plus, I look forward to joining a group that has been around since essentially the inception of my time here.
What does the Red Lion name mean to you? To me, the Red Lion group has remained as the singular most prominent and respected group on here. Quite frankly, members with this userbar garner a significant amount of respect and credibility solely through their wielding of the UB.
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week? While I am attending college full-time, I shouldn't have an issue in contributing to the group daily. Honestly, I have taken a step back from HF entirely as I've lost interest in anything besides crypto and my assignment service; although, this could be the spark I need.

What makes you stand out? Quite frankly, there are a wide array of members who deserve a spot in Red Lions. The group has become somewhat dead and likely hasn't made a massive impact on the newer members of the forum. I stand out through my experience as a group leader as well as the impact the group made on me towards the beginning of my stay on the forum.
Do you have any ideas in regards to group contribution? Generally speaking, yes. When I was the primary leader of Eclipse, we had compiled a decent list of ideas that would further the forum in regards to inspiring higher activity from members as well as a few different competitions that we thought would be interesting.

How can you contribute to the group?
I'm a web and mobile applications developer under the NodeJS platform for almost 4 years now. I can contribute to the group by making coding, technical, and professional tutorials. I can also lend a hand to group projects or individual ventures any member may have.
What does the Red Lion name mean to you?
Honor. As one of the longest running user group in HF, being a member of Red Lion is an honorable position to be in this forum. It also means loyalty and passion because of the same principle.
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week?
I can do around 20 hours per week on group activities.

As a long time member of the forum, I really look forward to join this prestigious user group because I want to know if, after all these years just being a regular contributor of this forum, I can do better and learn more by joining the ranks of the elders of this community. The actual pioneers of this forum, so to say. Red Lions did not survive for so long without the efforts of its members, and I wanted to know what it actually takes for that to happen so that I can also further contribute to other user groups that I'm a member of and the whole community in general.

How can you contribute to the group?
I can contribute by adding my business knowledge and my view on life. I have been through a tonne of shitty situations and can offer advice and condolences to users whom have shared similar situations. Shit will happen but only you can make it better. Always learn. Always Progress. Always Improve.
What does the Red Lion name mean to you?
The name Red Lions brings back memories when I was active throughout 2014-2015. I took a break from Hack Forums for a year and a bit but it is amazing that this group has been around this long. It sucks that the Nokia has been inactive this long but I am sure that Confound and Alone Vampire have great plans for this group.
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week?
I can devote at least 10 hours a week, however, I am flexible if tasks need to be done.
Personal Application:
With half of the groups being owned in a monopoly I believe change needs to happen. Groups that are still owned by devoted members have to take a stand to bring back meaning to custom groups. Custom groups aren't just an investment, they are a major landmark in what Hack Forums stands for. Members teaching, helping and improving each other's skills. I would love to be a part of this movement and currently working to do this with one group. If I am able to bring this mentality into other groups as well this movement it could truly bring the meaning and quality of groups back to the forums.

How can you contribute to the group? I could contribute to the group by being active in the marketplace, looking out for all of our newer (and older) members. I've always been a relatively HQ guy in my opinion. I have been looking for a reason to pickup my activity again, and as here soon I will be working from home almost all of my time will be spent on the computer. I would love the opportunity to join this prestigious group! I am a web developer and could offer my services in that aspect. I am relatively fluent in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, I'm still learning JS and I have loads of other things I am looking into learning. Right now I am dedicating a lot of time to making as much money as I can, and will be able to give back to the community. By the end of the year I am aiming for 10 sources of income. I'd love to write about my experiences along the way as well. I know I would make a great addition for you guys, and I hope you consider me in this once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity to join the most respected group on HF. 2018 is the year for great transformation, and I would be honored to join the ranks of some of the most respected members in this community!
What does the Red Lion name mean to you? The Red Lions name has always been the most prestigious group on HF, in my time here I've seen countless huge donations, and countless Red Lions helping out around HackForums, and they (as a whole) have always brought nothing but the best to our big HF Family. I have always wanted to be a part of this group. I strongly believe in charity as well, and I usually donate whenever I have the opportunity (Like at a grocery store for example)
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week? I can easily do a couple hours a day or so. That should be more than enough time for me to contribute in whatever it is we would be doing that week! I can make extra time if I really need too. (Especially in the coming months when my business takes off and I quit my 9-5.)

I know my application isn't the longest, writing never has been my strong point. I know however that you are making the right choice to consider me for this group. I know I will be able to bust out some good tutorials (Probably video tutorials!). Just in the last couple months I have decided to completely overhaul my life. I've had some unfortunate things happen and I've lost people I thought I would always have in my life. That along with some other personal issues have given me the motivation to become my greatest version. I go to the gym every day so I can finally achieve my dream body, I am taking online courses, and I start college this upcoming August. I am opening a business with my irl business partner, and I will be likely going on YouTube as well, to pursue a hobby of video production and editing. I recently learned that I really enjoy photoshop, so I am also teaching myself graphics design. I am ambitious, I am a budding entrepreneur, and I believe I would fit right in! I am constantly expanding my knowledge so I can become the greatest version of myself possible and I know the opportunity to join this group will not only motivate me to better myself, it'll motivate me to provide back to the community I have been in for so many years of my life now. How can you contribute to the group? I am active for about 90% of my day every single day. Every time I see spam, rules being broken and people that need help, I take action the best I could. I also do Graphic Design, I might be able to help out some members who need some Graphics for whatever reason it may be.
What does the Red Lion name mean to you? Since the beginning of Red Lions, I've always wanted to join, but never had the time to attempt to join. I can see that there are some nice/chill people in the group, I feel like I would be a great fit.
How much time can you devote towards group activities per week? Maybe around 7 - 9 hours per week, but it does depend on what the activities are.

I will be completely honest, I'm not sure what I could write for Personal Application so I will tell you a little bit of myself so you have a better understanding of my personality and who I am.
So ever since I could remember, I've been gaming on console and after the years, I slid into the computer scene which graphic design, private investigation, music creating (Preferably EDM, Dubstep, Underground Rap Beats, Rap Beats, Trap, Glitchhop and Trance) and much more. Once I got a computer, I started my youtube channel which actually helped me out to afford a custom gaming pc which I have still and currently upgrading. Around when I started graphic designing, I started getting interested in private investigating.

What does the Red Lion name mean to you? Respect, Understanding, And above all, A Not only knowledge of the site which we all reside in, but a total understanding of how and which way we are "governed" - so to speak. (Can not think of a better explanation right now)
