What are some good projects for beginners at Python to start developing/coding. I need some simple projects so I can learn from the process of developing an actual project while studying the coding language.

[Mr.Richie]

A backdoor or a reverse shell to access a server when you don't know the password anymore.

[wit]

A mortgage calculator

Always the first project I make in any class for some reason

Something usefull to you. Image Resizer, FileCrypter, UsernameGenerator, Networktools like PortScanner or irc-bot, REST-microservice with tornado, webscraper with requests and beautifulsoup... you could do so much with python. Maybe solve some coding challenges

I enjoyed making these exercises/small projects when I began learning Python! It's doesn't have big projects or something but it's great for when you are just starting!

Thanks for the suggestions, I will start working on some basic projects during my weekends.

depend on your current skill, you can make calculator, advanced calculator, some easy stuff like bruteforce if available, account cracker (pretty easy if the target doesn't have human verification)

I think the suggestions of the calculators is good. What I have always done, when I'm either learning something new or remembering something specific, I'll do the typical dice roll game and usually paper-rock-scissors. Lame, I know, but this approach works well for me.

Try to make some sort of bot. I was very excited first time I used Selenium, Requests and Beautifulsoup. Though you should try to use API's when your making bots

TY for this post, very helpful!

Thanks for all the replies, I've started picking up Python and once I'm a bit more familiar with the language I will try and code some of the suggestions.
