GTX 1060 6gb with i5 3330 CPU : How bad is the bottleneck?

I'm planning to buy a GTX 1060 6gb to replace my GTX 1050 ti, I currently don't have the funds for a new processor, so I'll be using the I5 3330; how bad will the bottleneck be between the 1060 and the 3330? I mainly play games like PUBG, CSGO, BF1 , and other FPS games. I have 1600x900 monitor which im planning to replace soon with a BENQ 1ms 144/240 refresh rate monitor. How much FPS do you think i can gain on pubg, csgo and BF1 on competitive settings both on recording and not

Spec details:
CPU: i5 3330
Cooler : Intel stock cooler
RAM : 12gb DDR3
PSU: 650W
First of all those are all mainly CPU based games.
1060 from a 1050Ti, really isn't a huge upgrade, probably not worth it in my opinion.
Recording is on the CPU more than the GPU.

Honestly I would keep the 1050Ti and put the money to a CPU, motherboard and ram.

I figure you are paying at least $300 for the 1060 6GB..... for $200 more (shouldn’t take too long to save...) grab this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor ($199.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($130.98 @ Newegg)

It will really help in those games and recording.
PUBG is exclusively being limited by your CPU. It greatly benefits from more cores/threads. CS:GO is probably also a CPU limitation since pushing high FPS is relatively easy for GPUs in the game.

Honestly there is no point of swapping your GPU out until you are willing to replace the CPU, Ram, and motherboard. For ram, I recommend going for 3200MHz or 3466MHz if you plan to keep it for awhile.

Also can you recommend me a decent PSU 600W-700W ? I dont trust enough my current PSU (Powerlogic 600w ATX PSU) It's very outdated (late 2011)

Any of these will be fine.

The bottleneck its something that you can clearly see, got an gtx 1060 6gb with the same CPU as you and sometimes I run at more than 100 fps and sometimes I get below 60 fps.

Also at looking videos at 1080p60fps while playing the videos stops, planning to purchase a CPU soon.

I have a gtx 1060 with i3 6100.. The bottleneck is not THAT bad if we look the overall performance on most games.. new gen i5 will do fine.

I can play witcher 3 and many more games with no bottleneck. It depends on the games that you play. Open world games most of the time need a better cpu.. Intense graphics need a better gpu.

Survival games with many AI, CS:GO, MMORPGS and games that load a lot of people in general will cause a small bottleneck.

You will not have any problem with battlefield 1 and if you google it you will see exactly what the bottleneck will be

Do you even know what a bottleneck is kiddo?
