Because I recently got my upload speed increased to 250 megabits I've been feeling generous and keep seeding for downloads that personally took me forever (downloads where my speed was limited) so I can help someone else out.

It was kinda funny because I've been seeding this new game call satisfactory (A 3d version of Factorio pretty much) which is about 10.5GB, anyways when I woke up I uploaded about 1.2TB worth of data.

So are there exceptions on what you will seed on? I personally won't seed if there are like 1k seeders and only 100 leechers.

Depends on the tracker. TPB, yify, etc I don't seed. For private trackers I've got a seedbox. Currently seeding around 250 torrents.

I feel like seeding is maintaining a connection with the file, thus law enforcement can snif that.
I'm safer of without seeding..

I seed constantly (gotta get that good karma to offset all the bad things I do), my only problem is that I've been using Comcast for two years now, so my ratio dropped from >18 to just over 9. I moved into a new house with gigabit upload, though, so it's time to get that ratio back up.

Depends on the number of seeders. If its <10 and a rare torrent I'll seed indefinitely.
Seed popular games and TV shows till 3:1. I seeded ~1.5 TB on a popular TV show once. Crazy.

I use private tracker sites for most of my torrenting, and I have a seedbox, so I leave most things seeding for at least a week or two.
If I find something rare that only had a few seeds to start with, I will leave it going indefinitely until I need the hard drive space on the seedbox for something else.

Almost everyday i seed movies niche.
Try uploading new recent movies, you will got many seeders.
