I cannot login to my hackforums account due to the login reset, all of my computers have been locked out and when I tried going onto the GAUTH app it didn't have my hackforums GAUTH on it because I switched phones recently and don't have the 2FA registered onto my GAUTH APP. I don't have a backup of the GAUTH because I didn't think there would be an issue like this.

I have my email and I tried resetting  the password to login, but it says invalid or bad GAUTH. Please Let me know what kind of proof I should show to get my account back, thank you so much!

I have activation email, my original mail, the skype I use since day 1 of my account, my old password, the IP matches my account to this one, I have PM's for currency exchanges with my main discord and skype on it, (I Think I have An Invoice For Sticky Payment Too) <--- I have these as proof.

Staff do not help with recovering accounts.

If you can not recover your authentication app, to generate a code, your account is lost forever.

All upgraded accounts now have full access to our Gauth (2-factor authentication) account security feature. It is highly advised you enable it. On the Gauth page are instructions to backup your security key in case of a lost, stole, or reset device. It's vital you have a backup method because we will not guarantee account recovery. Gauth enables you to secure your account and the burden is on you to maintain your own account security.

The account is lost. Unless Omni is feeling nice which I doubt lol. That is why I don't bother with 2FA here. A lot of shit happens. Avoidance is key here. Time to restart.

They stopped doing this so lits too late. You should have kept your backup code.

You seem kind of negligent. You switched phones and failed to properly transfer GAuth. Not to mention that Omni has been very open about how bad GAuth is, and to use Authy instead.

If you offer Omni enough money he might go through the trouble of verifying it's you. But honestly, I doubt it'll happen.

I believe this should be implemented as a paid service, it can easily boost the income of the website considering how many people tend to be negligent about 2fa auth.

At one time we did have a account recovery payment option.
However it’s changed now.

Hmm...no backup of 2FA. At any point if you had logged out of HF on any device it would have locked you out of your account on all the devices.

Sorry but I don't feel sorry for people who don't properly take the precaution to secure their accounts with backups.
