So.. To make things fair..

I live in a town/city where 75% of the people speak Spanish; I never took Spanish in highschool or college as I was homeschooled.
I feel it would be good to understand them, and be able to communicate with them as they come by my business daily.. etc.

Photoshop. Friend recommends that I learn it. Says it is very beneficial and fun. Someone even told me it would be good to learn and eventually get into and start up a business or some sort, of photo manipulation and all that.. (Money isn't a issue.. I can get all the adobe products for $20 a month with my student ID)

What do you think would be the best thing to learn would be? Which would be more beneficial?

I went to school for computer science/hardware.. etc.
I know nothing about graphics.
My current job.. Has nothing pertaining the use of computer graphics.. etc.

I know nothing about Spanish either.

I don't learn anything from it. I think if you make such a choice, then learning Spanish will be more useful than Photoshop. You can study photoshop later or combine, it’s not too hard.

I HATE Spanish learning Spanish it was the worst part of every day in high-school, now on the other hand I would relatively enjoy my digital design class. Although we did not work exclusively in photoshop we did use it a lot. So for me I would say photoshop would be more entertaining and interesting to learn.

However, now I really think that could be helpful, and a real plus on my CV
