Bit random but I've got some questions regarding drug testing, specifically in Australian Defense Force (ADF) if possible.

So I'm applying for Infantry and i've got an appointment hopefully coming up in the next 2-3 weeks, possibly a bit longer. If they did a hair and piss test I'm pretty certain I'll pass on weed and acid since I haven't done either in a while. Last time I smoked was July 4 and acid was like March.
The only problem is I've been dropping shrooms every couple weeks for like 2 months, even last night. My friend just told me about 20 minutes ago that they do hair tests when you apply.

Is there anyone here that has experience with drug testing in the army? Do they actually test for magic mushrooms? or just stuff like weed/coke/meth/mdma

When I went to my training the only drug test they conducted was a urine one, I had smoked less than 2 weeks before and passed no problem.

Should note this was the British Army though!

Thanks man. Our army states that they test hair and piss, wouldn't make sense to do hair if most will show up in the piss sample anyway so I'm assuming its more direct to lsd and shrooms :(

Can take up to 90 days to get out of the hair I think. Hoping I'll have enough time

Shave your head OP. Maybe they'll then just default to the piss test? Even if it gives you a little extra time it could be enough.
