Hey just wondering do you guys still take protein shakes on your rest days? Because i don't really get enough protein with my meals all the time and just wondering if this is bad to do or not... will i gain weight or will it feed my muscles?

Just the idea of casein sitting in my stomach digesting all day long like a steak and feeding protein to my muscles is such a good feeling Yeah that's awesome man, i hate resting but at the same time i know its good for me i just want to train all the time! I get the same feeling literally makes me feel bigger and my body becomes more appreciative when i give it a protein shake and some good healthy meals.

If you don’t get enough proteins then you should take protein shakes. I drink 3 protein shakes daily no matter if I train or not. I only have one rest day though, on this day I still do yoga and handstands so it’s not really a rest day. No matter what you will only gain weight if you’re in a calorie surplus. My 3 shakes is like 500 calories so it’s not bad at all. What is your goal? (Nov 10, 2019 02:13 AM)Deal Wrote: You answered your own question. I'm having protein, multi vitamins and then i have a scoop of these aminos with some flower that helps induce sleep and rest before bed every night. My goal is to build lean muscle but want to also bulk up at the same time like i want to be shredded but big if that makes sense. 😁 (Nov 10, 2019 03:02 AM)Olympus Wrote: Yeah man i want to train every day but is that bad for you? You should have one or two rest days. But rest days doesn’t mean that you have to do nothing at all. You can do some cardio, stretching, or skill work. So you want to lean bulk. Whether that’s the way you become shredded and big is depending on your body type. But with a lean bulk I’d suggest you laying not more than 300 calories in surplus. Also proteins is super important, also on your “rest days”

I don't know is it above your caloric intake? It's all about calories in calories out calculate it and you'll know. |
