Computer running laggy CPU is at 100% usage

So this just started happening today my computer is running shitty the cpu usage is at 100% and its not just from one application it will alternate and sometime chrome will randomly use alot of cpu for no real reason i know its stupid but could it be due to it being connected to shitty internet cause my internet has took a dump to in the same day

if you have any ideas how to fix this let me know
Try to use autoruns/process explorer sysinternals and check if something is running.

well i found something and that is my computer has alot of system interrupts and sometimes that is the one that is spiking

High average interrupts / processor. This machine has 8 processors and 2 network cards. Total Interrupts/sec on the machine is 424520. The average interrupts per processor per sec is 53065.
i feel like this is very high
Are all of your drivers and Windows updates all up to date?
I had a 100% usage and just had to update everything

The best advice I can give you in relation to drivers is to download CPU-Z, and manually download the drivers for each component.
You can even try Driver Easy for checking driver updates 🤝
is there a way to know which are outdated or do i just have to go one by one
Hello OP,

More reliable to update one by one. If your computer was prebuilt, you can retrieve the SN, go the the brand's website and enter it inside.

If you built your computer, you'll have to go on each component's website and download the latest driver.

As said above, you can download and run some tools, but their are not reliable at 100%. I'm not fond of.

By the way, it could help us to know which processes are high consuming your CPU, have you any idea ?

Can you give us information regarding the interrupts, like a screenshot of the event viewer ?

Can you give us information about your computer ? Brand, age, components, model, system, ...

Be aware that everything can help us to help you 🤝
disable super fetch service, Check Power-supply, Overheating may cause high cpu usage also, clean cpu fan and apply new thermal paste
