Police said on Sunday that a man had been charged with murder and wanton endangerment over Gerth’s death. The suspect, identified by an arrest citation as Steven Nelson Lopez, was wounded in the leg by gunfire from bystanders at the park who were defending themselves, according to police.

He told me I didn't get into Boston university because I'm White and then called me an idiot when I didn't agree with him, saying he could get into BU if he wanted even though he's also white. I told you that I have applied and been accepted into many reputable schools, because I have. Also, I told you I never applied to BU.

A quick Google search indicates: "A speaker at the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression press conference earlier Sunday made several references to Lopez, saying he had been involved in multiple disturbances at the camp and had to be escorted away from Jefferson Square Park before the shooting."

Sadly another peaceful event ruined and life taken. I am glad some of the protestors were armed and could return fire though.
