So I've been dealing with acne for a while now since i was like 18ish but I've been finally prescribed antibiotics and topical creams and was wondering if anyone else has been through this bullshit? Also might post some progress pics once in a while if any of y'all are interested.

I was messed up with acne when I was 15, I'm 20 but still breakout every now and then.
Whenever I do break out now, I try to figure out what I ate wrong or if I have been cleaning my face enough.

Got genetic acne that started when I was fugging 10 and I still have to deal with a decade later, tried pretty much everything in the book except getting prescribed roaccutane. On oxytet + duac at the moment but honestly it doesn't do all that much, would definitely be interested to see if anything works for you.

Currently im prescribed doxycycline, Retin-a, and benzyl peroxide.

No dairy and limiting sugar intake.

I've noticed that im not breaking out as much but my face is currently purging and all those white and blackheads are starting to all pop out!

Indeed it has been 12 years since I am using topical ointments and zinc to get rid of acne. It has certainly subdued over the years, but I guess it will stay with me for few more years.

He qut dairy products, went vegan, started working out.
His face looks clean af now.

Dude, I had it fucking awful. My back acne got so bad, I'm still a bit conscious about taking my shirt off. Even though it's all cleared up. Tried antibiotics and so on. Worked temporarily, but quickly blew up again. My dermatologist suggested a medication.. Which is more of a last resort, option. It's called Accutane and it's brutal. It's a 4-5 month treatment process, but I think it was worth it. Was a miserable process but it was worth it.

I also, nowadays simply wash my face with Dove soap as recommended, and a dry skin moisturizer, that also is sunscreen. Just once a day, and my face has never felt better. Very light breakouts here and there, but nothing compared to what I used to deal with.

I'd try accutane man. I had acne since my early teens till around 19. Pretty severely, but accutane kinda just did it. The process is long, but results are awesome. You will feel miserable, extra dry skin, acne may worsen during the process. Your dermatologist will guide you through it, it's kind of a strict process with the medication which was weird. It's an intense medication for sure though

None of that bullshit worked for me, had to resort to accutane, which fucking SUCKED but it cleared me up perfectly and i maybe get a pimple a month if im unlucky since then, 10 years ago maybe
