Me personally:

In regards to anything crypto, Im both short & long term, holding BTC and ETH and day trading smaller alt coins.

Stocks are dividend based, and Im going for long-term growth.

Holdings include:

AT&T, Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, Coca Cola and many more

Long term options, short term penny stocks. I day trade penny stocks for a living, but this week my $RIOT and $MARA calls have been raking in the money.
The only long term shares I hold are some undervalued EV stocks and cannabis, at the moment, but represents less than 10% of my entire portfolio.
I like to say for the most part I make long term investment choices on my particular plays, but usually try and sell any investment at 5-10% loss and sell any profit at 30% gain,

For the most part I've been able to minimize losses and select stocks most of the time to make my threshold limit order of 30% above my initial purchase price.

Lately been so busy with worth that its been harder for me to keep up with the markets but am still spending a few hours a day researching.
Both. My portfolio is really mixed. It depends on what I'm buying. Some are meant to be sold right away and some are meant to be held on to.
Hi.

Honestly I made the bulk of my money holding long term and had my biggest losses in short term trading lol

I still do both tho. But mostly doing long term these days
I buy Amazon Gift Cards & Crypto for CashApp. PM me if you're selling
I am a long term investor - I don't have the time during the day to monitor my positions and adjust in the short term. I prefer to set it and then check in monthly / quarterly. A lot less hassle this way and it also helps me avoid stupid mistakes that cut into profits.
I have 2 accounts, my long-term commons(Most commons I buy I intend to go long). And I have my options account(which I trade all day on).
Always PM/Convo me before attempting to communicate with me off-site.
Enjoy your day.
Long term, i buy and forget.

Do you use the same brokerage account? or do you have 2 different ones?
I'm always in it for the long term to minimize risk. I ocasionally cherry pick some short term riskier plays but a lot of them end up becoming long term holds or they are sold once I find better alternatives.
I like both since can give you mixed profits, or losses :P... short trade can be fun but can also be stressful, i already made some nice profits in short trades but i need all my eyes open, well almost all my eyes.

Technically they are different accounts. But they are linked to my main profile. I use TDAmeritrade, and you can just click 'add account'.

Short term, mostly day trading. I use a cash account, no margin to avoid PDT.

Long term only
You would be a fool not to use a strategy that integrates both.
I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
