Anyone ever try it out? I bought a few fishing magnets, curious to see what I find off some bridges in the bad parts of town.

I personally haven’t tried it, used to spend a few hours a day watching people magnet fishing when I had Facebook.

The stuff they pulled out was interesting:
Guns
Knifes
Mopeds
Safes
Bank Vaults

If you get some catches would love to see the finds.

I have a thing for odd shit, i have some super bright flashlights i bought that shine up to 300 yards for no reason other than to fuck around with, so i shall add some ridiculously strong magnets to my collection also

Yes, as a kid / teen with my dad. It was fun and stuff, but it was for a short while.

I have never tried it, but I have seen some related videos. The question I have is if the magnet goes to an ascetically large or heavy object that cannot be moved, what happens? Do you just cut the rope and lose it?

Yeah, you need one of those hooks on a rope to be able to pull out the heavy stuff that really makes you curious though..
