I will still make your order correct, but I will give minimal effort.

And if you ask for some stupid special alterations, you're most likely not getting it.

Agree with you on this, I never worked in the restaurant business but I mean it’s just common sense lol, unless it’s damn near like a fast food place and your hitting the drive thru right before they close.
But an actual sit down restaurant hell even Applebees I would feel bad to go in anywhere before 30-45mins at least before they close

I dedicated too much of my early life in the restaurant business to firmly hold the philosophy of "Unless you and/or your child(ren) are going to @#$%ing die forever if you don't get food in 20 minutes, DON'T show up at a restaurant an hour or so prior to their closing." NOPE. I've been there countless times and have done horrible things to their food out of spite to even the playing field.

completely agree with this. i used to serve at a restaurant and those people who come when the kitchen is cleaning and you're counting your tips are the worst.

i just ordered from TGi Fridays and they where about to close and when i got my meal they only gave me 5 pieces of chicken strips for $15 when it should of been 12. Either they fucked up or my door dasher ate my chicken.

I agree. Total asshole move. It’s common sense which a lot of people lack. I worked in a restaurant for 2 years when I was attending high school and having customers come in right before close after a long day of work is the most annoying thing ever. Those are the same people that treat the waiters like shit and lack basic respect. Complaining about every little thing after walking in right before close. Makes me wanna take a huge dump on their plate and serve it like that.

Yes, that's very rude. For many years I have worked both in gastronomy and trade, running a shop from a popular chain and there I had the opportunity to see how people can come and make absurd demands at the last moment before closing, while showing a complete disrespect to the other person.
