If you are the president/prime minister of your nation, would you make crypto legal?

curious to hear your thoughts on it :)
love you all <3
Though I would be advocate for privacy related currency, it would be very difficult to mediate income.

I would not support due to dissolving of government involvement.

so there are citizens complaning about the time/procedures it takes to transfer money ,crypto is fast and hasseless but is not regulated and chances of sending money to someone else is high (becuase to send money from one bank to another you put 2-3 fields and if the combination is wrong your money is not debited)
while as in cyrto if you are cool with copying and pasting the entire address properly then its not a problem

so you have speed and being anonymous vs regulations and centralization

From an economic perspective, the fact that someone can easily, just as you said, transfer their money internation without currency exchange leverage on their end going to retail bank and government, is a huge loss of revenue and control for fraud, misuse and mis-allocation is out-of-your control for mediation.

So from a government's perspective, it becomes a huge liability and forces people to either be vulnerable or adapt and lose revenue.

However from the perception of, and as a consumer, and someone who would prefer to keep his money safe, I am 100% for.

thats actually such a detailed view ,was a delight to read it <3
This might sound weird, but i'm against crypto and i don't know the actual reason i just don't like it and don't believe in it.

I would strictly make Monero legal, state surveillance over citizens is against human rights to privacy.

woah, something cool and new
I will definitely make it legal.
110% it should be legal. Makes no sense that its not besides the elites can't control it like they do with fiat.

No. The amount of wealth I'd gain through bribes and kickbacks from banks and big corporations would out perform my shitty trades any day.

Depends on my situation.
If I was in power in a country where crypto is causing the country to lose money, and the majority of my commerce is crime related, I would ban it.
If I was in US, (my country) I'd probably go full swing crypto in order to get the jump on it.

It has to be regulated at some point, it's here to stay. So it has to become legal

This, as private coins seem like the only currency that would come under fire.

I think we will start seeing bans on public trading of currencies beneath a specific amount of certified liquidity eventually.
