Business laptops are way better then consumer laptops

I always used normal consumer laptops untill at one point i got a thinkpad (thinkpads are business laptops) and its still going strong to this day. I got it waay back. After that i only had thinkpads and latitudes. Literally everytime i got a new laptop my old one was still as new.

Tldr: business grade laptops are superior then consumer grade. They are build to last way longer and usually are often well upgradeable.
I'd have to disagree, we use Thinkpad in work and sure they're robust but their performance ain't great as "business" CPU's aren't near the same performance numbers as consumer products (ram is limited to the non-xmp numbers, etc etc etc) so a Thinkpad/Latitude purchased outside of a business still get the consumer hardware rather what businesses get which is pretty bad.

From Lenovo - their Thinkpad T14 (what I have from work) has different specs to the laptop I have compared to the website. It's also double the price excl. VAT. Business-oriented laptops are robust and that's where the benefits end.
Yeah, I also had ThinkPads and they last longer than any other laptop I own.

Lenovo ruined IBM's machines in my opinion. Dell or HPE both make better machines. Granted they cost more, but when it's the company paying, that hardly matters.

Putting the LCD 48V rail next to CPU vCore is one of the dumbest design decisions of all time change my mind. Apple makes mediocre hardware that is well branded and presented as magic. Apple is a much better multimedia company than hardware company. I will give Apple credit for launching their own hardware, but for the business world, is largely useless because it can't run VMWare/Citrix/other virtualization tools securely and with full CPU/GPU passthrough.
