Earlier this year I have made a TikTok account with the intention of using it for CPA. I have never tried CPA before so I didn't know what to expect from it. The goal was to reach 1k followers so I can put clickable links in my bio, and they do a fake giveaway and try to make some money.
The plan changed, I had no time left for my page so I have not posted in months, however I am still getting some activity and I plan on starting to post again very soon. Most of my content is mine, and the videos are pretty cool. I have lots of new content that I have made this summer so I am looking to edit some videos and try to make at least a few videos go viral.
Instead of going in straight for the kill, I want to reach 10k followers first and then try to monetize it. Any tips on what should I do? CPA/PPD? Dropshipping? Something else? It's not related to crypto or money, or ''tech'' stuff. It's a music/events/entertainment niche.

Pay per download thats what I do i'd say you'll make roughly $200-300 per 10k likes for apps. wouldn't expect anything really until 100k followers though. I have an entire business around this.

What if I start around the ~50k mark? And continue to grow, post content and also monetize it at the same time?

Make good, interesting, funny, talented etc content. Build up a genuine following and get paid.

Well it's a music festival/rave niche. It's a whole lifestyle and since I attend events a lot, I have great organic content. I don't see it blowing up to 1m+ but I will have generic followers. I'm thinking dropshipping some festival merch/gadgets or maybe CPA/PPD by doing a giveaway?

Also when you are big enough, you can promote the events and make money that way!

Smart idea. But I don't know it all seems too far away when I'm only at 2k now but growing at a slow but steady space with the right audience.
How big are we talking until I can start promoting some brands?

I often found people selling stuff. One way to monetize your time on the platform besides taking ads. Guess this is the same with promotion.

At that point, you can at least close some type of deal with the event for sure!

You can start monetizing whenever just makes more sense at 100k to post ads and stuff
From experience, I can tell you that CPA could potentiality kill your page. Had a Facebook page years ago and when I posted the first CPA related stuff, I noticed that activity went downhill.
