Pc making connect/disconnect sound when charging phone at mains

Bit of a strange one, hopefully one of you techies can help...

So I'm charging a few phones for my side hustle and my pc is sometimes making the connect and disconnect sound which would be normal... but... They're plugged into the mains none of them are actually plugged into the pc?

I'm ready to get my tin foil hat out

wtf? Are you SURE the sound is coming from the pc? Does it do it every time you plug something in ? Assuming Windows PC ... Does windows notifications show you anything? Does it do it with a particular socket or all of them? Have you tried an alternate socket ? Seeing any explanation in event viewer? Look for USB Kernel-PnP, or Device, or similar.

Bluetooth maybe? NFC maybe ? Poltergeist maybe ?

hmmmm....
Have you tried a different charger ?

Yeah it's 100% coming from the pc at first I thought I was going wild...

I'm guessing its interfearing with something and making it disconnect and connect again or something.. I'll google how to check via them things later on

Doubt anyone cares, but after lookin at logs its my msi keyboard (plugged into pc) disconnecting and reconnecting when putting phones on and off charge from a mains.. So weird

Most likely it’s something simple. It could be a USB hub, monitor, keyboard, mouse, or even a USB power adapter briefly reconnecting due to power fluctuation.
