Well, guys, it's pretty clear that a large portion of the users on this forum are much more knowledgeable about this topic than I am. We often hear about legitimate investments and economic models that continue to evolve and adapt over time, but I was curious about your thoughts on meme cryptocurrencies.

What was your reaction when meme coins first became popular? From what I understand, they experienced a huge boom for a while. It seems like many of them disappeared almost as quickly as they appeared, although some have managed to survive. Others seem to be created and abandoned within days.
Did any of you ever lose money buying one? Do you know anyone who made a profit or suffered losses from them?
What little I know comes mostly from a few conversations with Claude, and my impression is that many meme coins are essentially jokes turned into financial products—often relying more on hype, marketing, and speculation than on any underlying utility. In some cases, it seems that early buyers profit while late buyers end up holding the bag.

That said, I'm curious about your experiences and opinions. Have any of you ever created a meme coin yourself? Invested in one? Made money, lost money, or simply watched the phenomenon from the sidelines?
I'd love to hear what you think about this strange corner of the cryptocurrency world.
