Due to the newest Evil Dead movie Evil Dead Burn coming out, I decided to rewatched the past few films. Starting with Evil Dead (2013). This one of the three was probably the best. Although the ending was a bit tacky. The movie plot is a group of friends get together for a stay at a cabin in order to get one of their friends to clean and sober. The first night as she is dealing with withdraws she attempts to run away only to find herself getting possessed by a deadlite demon. The friends try everything to help her out and discover an ancient book that may have the answers for how to save her.
It's 13 years old but it's still a solid horror watch if you want something disgusting and gory. I give it a 6/10.
