Hello, I would like to make a quick short thread informing people why Staff do not ban the Users if there is even sufficient evidence.

When Staff can ban:

• When the user admits to scamming the user.
  

When Staff cant ban:

• If there is a thread report with good evidence.
  

The reason being is that the members that get banned, can file lawsuits towards staff members or the person who banned them. Which causes alot of stress to people.

Although forums like Sythe and Mixtrend ban the users if they deem evidence is good enough, thats because they know most of their users wouldn't go through the trouble to find a lawyer and such all for being banned on a forum.

What are you going to do when someone decides to sue you for libel because you've labeled them a scammer without any proof?

Just curious on that because eventually..that's what is going to happen.

This backs up my statement as to why you do not see a lot of Scammers being banned. Its really up to the owners of forums on their desecration whether to take the chance or not.

I know 75-80% of this forum is probably teens in the age of 13-18, but Omni I guess wants to make sure nothing goes wrong as this is a fast growing community.

Hope I answered some peoples question regarding why Staff don't ban members without them admitting to it.

Thanks for bringing that question up. It doesnt matter what country they are in I believe but like I said its all within the Owners discretion whether he wants to take that chance or not.

Which is why people need to KNOW that before they DO get scammed. Most ub3rs that scam say they cant "risk" their account on HF and blah blah. This needs to be out there, for the better or for the worse.

This should also get people to think twice on how deals should be made and who to trust.

The mod's dont even do anything, its not like they could ban or what not. They can only close/open threads.
