Server Move (Again) By Omniscient
Omniscient has secured a new server for Hack Forums marking a major step towards full site upgrades, after a previous attempt was cut short when the old hosting service closed without notice. A new datacenter has now been chosen that meets the sites requirements at a reasonable price. Progress updates will posted in the thread as upgrades move forward, this is a big step in the right direction for Hack Forums don't forget to follow the thread for updates as they are released.
Tether BTCpay Plugin By Omniscient
A Tether plugin has been installed on the BTCPay server and is now active. Invoices can be paid using USDT on the TRC-20 (Tron) network.
This is being tested as a trial run for the plugin. It appears to be functioning correctly but there's no guarantee it will stick around. The main concern is that addresses don't rotate automatically meaning the wallet will need to be changed manually on a regular basis. For now its live feel free to make use of it and see how things go. Thank you.

▸ How Much Of Your Code Is AI Generated Now?
by Mxstermind
A simple question that says a lot about how quickly software development is changing. Mxstermind asks members what percentage of their code is now AI-generated, and the answers are pretty telling - with some saying almost everything they build now starts with AI while they focus on the vision, troubleshooting, and final decisions. It seems like we are at a peak moment where engineers got closer to the business side of things.
▸ Project Rescue - Repair and Complete Your Broken AI-Generated Project
by [mention=284502
A useful community idea aimed at one of the biggest problems with vibe coding: projects that start fast and then collapse under broken dependencies, placeholder code, bad structure, or half-finished features. OP is offering a free project rescue service where members can submit their broken AI-generated projects for proper triage, repair, validation, and documentation rather than throwing everything away and starting again. A great example of turning the weaknesses of AI-assisted development into an opportunity for community learning and collaboration.
▸ UnityScraper - AI-Written XboxUnity Asset Scraper
by [mention=1545765
A cool experiment showing just how far AI-written tooling can go when someone has a clear idea of what they want. OP released UnityScraper, an asset scraping and extraction framework built around XboxUnity content, with support for things like asset dumping, resource extraction, bundle scraping, and update tracking. What's especially interesting is that the project was essentially created through prompting, with later ChatGPT and Codex iterations expanding the codebase and even adding Linux support. A solid real-world example of AI moving beyond snippets and boilerplate into maintaining and expanding an actual software project.
▸ My cat wants say hey to HackForums!!!
by geoshot
Sometimes the best threads don't need to be complicated. geoshot introduced his cats to HF and the community immediately did what you'd expect - compliments, requests for more pictures, stories about their own cats, and plenty of virtual treats and "pspspsps." A wholesome little thread and a nice reminder that between all the tech, security, and serious discussions, HF is still a community where a cute cat can completely take over the conversation.
▸ Does anyone else feel like 90% of the internet is just bots talking to bots now?
by M1MON
A discussion that feels increasingly relevant as AI-generated content, automated accounts, ragebait, and algorithm-driven feeds become harder to separate from genuine human interaction. M1MON asks whether the modern internet is slowly turning into bots talking to other bots, with members discussing everything from YouTube comments and political manipulation to the Dead Internet Theory and the growing difficulty of knowing what's authentic online. One of those threads that makes you look at your next comment section a little differently and wonder how many people in it are actually people.

This weeks Movie Of The Week:
Scary Movie (2026)
Trailer:
This movie was submitted on our Submision thread [HF News] Movie Of The Week Submissions
This week's submission is thanks to Mix
So, yes, I, the writer Mix I am making this one this wekk as I recently watched it and thought I would share my thoughts about it. The whole Scary movie series is all a joke about being scary, as many of you all know. Now I must say the movie started off great but really had a predictable story line and was really just paying too much for the actors they hired. The ending was honestly a joke and pointless, but it does have its moments where it's funny and surprising. I would honestly give the movie a 3 out of 5 stars.
