I have seen that the rate of scams on HF is increasing day by day,
One of the reason for this is that the victims feel very lazy in investigating the person to whom they are dealing with!
Nor the victims check the dealer on scammer database!

SUGGESTION:-
As we know, we have labels on our profile(Joined , Last Visit , Reputation , etc).. We will have a label called "Scam Reports" and beside it the number of scam reports posted against the user will be mentioned..

This will make the people to check scam reports against him before dealing with him!

I like this idea, but we have the DDB. I know it isn't the same, but that's probably people will say.

I know that we have a DDB but i have seen that people(including me) feel very lazy to check in the DDB!

Not all scam reports are valid. It wouldn't be fair to those who can't control what others post.

Probably the only reason it isn't approved, it can't be 100% proven that the person is the scammer.

I don't really see a need for this. Users should be checking out a users profile and taking precaution before commencing a deal e.g. Making sure there isn't any scam reports against them, as well as using a MM when doing large deals.

Also scam reports are not 100% reliable or accurate. A user may have had a scam report opened on him by mistake such as: Using the wrong UID or name.

Well if you're too lazy to check if someone is a scammer before dealing with them, then don't expect not to get scammed.

Precisely. I still feel as though if you do not want to get scammed, then you should really be investigating the user you are dealing with.
