Think about it, having these "official" reviews are better than nothing. Also, I don't think this "testers" thing is a good idea. It seems like way too much work for the group and with the amount of eBook Sales Threads coming in it seems virtually impossible. Nice idea though.
I think what we should be doing rather than skipping straight to the idea of disbanding the Reviewers entirely is brainstorming about different ways we can improve the accuracy and quality of the reviews being distributed. Like I said, these "official" reviews may not always be the most accurate, but IMO it's better to have them than not to have them at all.
So basically, your saying we should let the reviewers keep giving the inaccurate reviews, causing people to spend there money thinking that it will work?

But it would be even more so because of the possibility of getting say an advance fud crypter that costs 70 bucks for free as opposed to a 5 dollar ebook.
They payed 2,000 $ for a group
They can do as they please
Heres my bit on it, reviewers should stay, the rule about members not in the "official" team not being able to review ebooks should be removed. So, here is what this solves. You no longer feel obligated to get an official review as a seller. As a buyer you can see reviews of people who have actually purchased the ebook. This is also somewhat off topic, but I believe you should be able to get vouches and testimony's by that I mean. Vouches "prove" that you have had successful deals in the past, it has nothing to do with your current product. A testimony is something written by the consumer that has purchased the product. People seem to merge the two, when they have 2 completely different meanings. If you have 10 friends on hf you have 10 vouches, but if your ebook/product is crap, you shouldn't acquire sales just because you are getting friends to say that you have had good deals in the past. That is just my view on it.

I was not aware of this, I thought omni created the group to help the ebook marketplace. 😧

It shouldn't be too much of a loss for the seller, right? Because if it gets a good review by the tester, then it would up their sales. But I agree a bit, and that's why I was leaning more towards just ebook testers.

I believe so. The Reviewers was here long before the ability to create your own group for $2000.

If anyone wants to join the Reviewers team to get free eBooks, don't bother. One out of every 25, probably more, are worth reading. A good majority of the eBooks are things that sellers scrapped together to make a quick buck.
So no. Anyone who is in the Reviewers to get free eBooks would have more then likely left it.

Maybe you missed something Biohazard posted.
I remember that HF Testers were trying to be created and Omni banned the OP and disbanded it.
So Testers will never happen.

You are caught between a rock and a hard place, people dont care nearly as much about a $5 product, if you loose $5 you loose $5. But if you buy something for $75 you expect it to be good. So basically someone needs to give, it is a matter of if it going to be the buyer (not sure of the products "goodness" lol) or the seller (giving away a $75 product for free)
I support the replacing of the reviewers with the testers lol seems like a more useful group
Agreed my brother, I think when you buy an ebook, it's at your own risk. I personally hardly depend me buying an ebook on what the reviewer said.
Why would you ever believe an ebook actually does what it advertises? Once a method is saturated enough it's no long as effective.
★ Qwazz has given you a star.
I'm sure a group names Testers will be ordered to test .exe programs also, etc. I'm positive Omni will just close this suggestion, but good luck.

Sorry to say, but ALOT of people will base their decision solely on the reviews. If it says good things, more people will buy it. If it says bad things, no one will buy it.
