Remove eBook Section entirely / Huge Revamp / Remove Reviewers

Quote:I say.

That does make it true.

Quote:So, I have more experience and knowledge than you or any other reviewer in the deck. Grammar is useless if you aren't having the knowledge on reviewing.

Grammar does matter when you are critiquing an e-book.

Quote:If you can exercise perfection over grammar why not in this? Giving me an excuse are you?

Not really an excuse if you read what I said. Perfection is not possible. You think a review is good, others think it isn't. Can't really satisfy everyone's demands. And regarding your thread, mistakes do happen once in a while.
I Agree there is No point In selling them when All of them and Most of them Don't even work they have Make money and things like make thousands... and it Usually turns out that It never works Or was just a cheap floozy
Totally agree with this. If U really can make $500/day U will never exposed the secret for even $500 per piece of the ebook!

Also ebook about spreading, "Get 500 vics per hour"?? WTF? 24 hours x 500 = 12000/day? Show me at least half of that for one week of spreading then I will buy the ebook.

I love Ebook Section but I will never buying the ebook about money, spreading or shit that TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
Honestly, a lot of ebooks I've reviewed have similar methods that I've seen if I have knowledge in it.

If you have such a problem with the ebook section, don't go there.
It's like stating that "Omg, why all these kids post stupid GTs in GT section?" if you don't like it, get the hell out of the section.

I try to not take on reviews on topics I don't know, but sometimes that can't be avoided by Reviewers.
You are expecting a Reviewer that has extensive knowledge everywhere, has read hundreds of methods on making money, and is going to shell out money each and every time he Reviews it to test out if the logical ideal works? We aren't made of money, we don't get paid to review these ebooks, and we have standards in which we can review them.

Don't point a finger at Reviewers as a group, point it at some of the concepts laid down by the administration.
The members try as best as they can to give a good review, be unbiased, and tell if a method works.
It's funny though, when someone consistently gives awful reviews people are like, "That kid is a terrible Reviewer" even though they are just being honest.
Don't hate the players, hate the game. Hate the people that copy and make shitty ebooks or steal ideas.

Use common sense when it comes to ebooks. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
"Make $15000 in a month!" Yeah... I'm sure. -_-
Use common sense instead of rallying what seems to be very negative threads against a group that tries hard to keep up with reviews.

Quote:Check out my thread I made about removing the Reviewers team and adding a team to test the ebooks.

Where the hell does the money come from to test the ebooks? I'm not going to waste $100 a month "testing" each ebook.
I have college expenses I'd much rather spend my money on.

When are you guys ever gonna choose someone who is really talented over stuff's like these.

Why do you find it so cumbersome to recruit people who have knowledge?

Why are you guys so adamant in recruiting people who can only write in flamboyant English, when its clearly evident that they don't posses any knowledge whatsoever on it.

Why?

Biased in recruiting? For the most part, they pick quality applicants, there is only one member I could speak of that didn't have the quality because they didn't research his scam reports, and he was kicked within a day or two.
Just because they may pick prominent members that have made a name for themselves, doesn't mean it's biased.
It's a lot easier to go through someone with a decent amount of posts, look at their posting style, and see if the Reviewer application was a try hard attempt to getting in.

Talented? Writing and grammatical skills are some of the key points to being a reviewer.
By all means, if you feel you know everything there is to know about ebooks, post that, your arrogance will probably be your downfall for doing so.

We get it, someone made a bad review because he didn't know much about the subject, we try to not let that happen.
It isn't possible for someone to be knowledgeable in every subject matter.

I never wrote in flamboyant English in my Reviewers application, I just typed how I normally type.
Reviewers also have standards, you are supposed to be official and proper, often pertaining to unique posting be some individuals when making reviews.
You have to admit that there are a few good ebook out there. And its not the reviewers fault that people resell the same methods.
Quote:About 96% of the eBooks on Hack Forums aren't working.

I'd say the 4% working ebooks make it worth it having a section for them.
Plus you just buy them if you want to.

^ This exactly. You are whining about getting low quality eBooks yet you still buy them. If you think all of the eBooks suck then don't look at the section and don't buy them.
Being an ex-Reviewer, I can honestly say that it needs major reforms. It's current system does not work. The goal of the Reviewers is to protect the buyers, and if they're not doing that, they're doing something wrong. eBooks are just assigned to whoever wants to review them, not to people who have knowledge in the field. The two parts of the review that matter the most and require the most effort are the Quality of Information and Originality, because these will state if the method is original and working. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case with most reviews.

What I've always done is search for any direct plagiarism, search HF along with other forums, check to see if the method was rewritten by searching for a short summary, and then, if I'm sure that it is original I would test it out the best I can. If it wasn't original I would kill the review right there. As far as I'm concerned, no one still does this. It's come down to pumping out the most reviews in the quickest time frame possible.

Don't bother trying to get the entire eBooks section and the Reviewers team removed. It will never happen. It just needs massive changes to start reviewing eBooks effectively again.
Removing the section will not help.

But you were right.

I agree with the changes that you speak of. However, only people knowledgeable in the field take it up for a review. For example:- I don't take up e-books about gaming, coding, website constructions etc...
Also, there are times when all it says is "Make $1000 a month". No additional information regarding the niche is provided. So, we don't really know what the niche is sometimes.
However, I disagree with the part where you say that you are the only one doing so and also the part where you say that reviews are done in a hurry to finish it in the quickest time frame. That is incorrect.
who cares about the grammar if the ebook has good working content?
the whole reviewers crew must be removed.
im with you op.

Being a reviewer requires you to have excellent grammar and spelling.
How can you critique someone's e-book on the grammar section if you suck at it yourself?
You shouldn't completely rely on Reviews. For some reason, we are taking it out on the reviewers, not yourself or the seller. That's not right. Honestly, the reviewers are reviewing the quality of the book, it's not their responsibility to tell you if the method is patched. Commonsense could easily help you buy a good ebook.

Plus, all the eBooks in the eBook section aren't always about money making; many are about Social Engieering and human mind "hacking".

Well this is funny

Okay, heads up. Ebooks some works some doesn't. Some resell stuff they dont have rights others dont. Some ebooks are real others is fake. Some monzetting is real can give you a good profit. Others aint. Yet i agree with that the reviewers goal is to protect the buyer and yet the reviewers are not testing the ebooks. This what i agree with. I dont agree with that we should remove the whole Ebook Section. Its like the Seller seciton. Some crypters are FUD some are UD and public and been sold by kids that want to make quick money. Like the booters some are Good and reliable others doesn't work. Should we ban all that? No.

The Reviewers should just simply test the method. Grammar is imporant if you get an book where you barely could understand what he said and you juts paid 30$ for it. You would sure be mad! Im not saying that the job the reviewers are doing is bad, But maybe just not enough.

Hope you understand my point.

I agree with you on some aspects, the Reviewers are doing a great job, some members just need some commensense to figure out a few things.
