Do you mean "Post to Receive" and "PM to Receive" style threads? (When you have to post to get a program, ebook, etc)

If you offer something there is no reason to say "PM me if interested". A required post to pm is ridiculous and LQP.

What members should be doing is posting download links and eventually I'd love to require it.
