the nerve

Their review examples, he's sponsored by nvidia. Titian hasn't been released yet. It's being released on 25th.

$1 can't even afford you all that copper and machining for that copper.

He probably got review samples from Nvidia, just like how the press gets free copies of games to review.

Woah, I'd be happy with just one.
He's gotta be rich as fuck.
Back on HF after leaving in 2014. Been a member for 12 years.
and yes, I had Ub3r before you could just buy it.

Yea d00d. Prodigy is a genius.
All the people who posted before than nVidia gave them to him to test are just dumbs.
Bah. I'll think of something later.

Anyways awesome card, but so far the only people with them have the review samples. Will be seeing mine on Tuesday hopefully

It actually provides nearly the same performance with worse specifications. The 7970 just offers the same relative performance for a smaller price tag... the GTX 680 is the fastest single-GPU card in existence, other than the GTX 780, of course :-)

I am no fanboy. I like AMD, I like NVIDIA. But NVIDIA has more efficient cards that perform better at the same specifications. AMD offers less efficient cards that perform better at the same price.

No, you are a fanboy idiot. CUDA is way better for folding or just bitcoin mining in general.

Not to mention that "At the same specifications" would have to make the GTX 680 have 33% more cores, the same clock speed, a larger memory bus, more VRAM.

Nvidia has more budget for R&D plus their design philosophy revolves around better cores. Which is why you find their cards with less cores and a lower clock speed.

They're pretty greedy for pricing their cards soo high while cutting costs(Locked voltages for less RMAs, less ram, smaller bus).
