PasswordSaver (First Beginner Project)

Created my own one in about 20 minutes.

It uses RC4 Encryption with a password to save your accounts

The accounts are saved to the settings (Still encrypted) and re-added upon execution.

The site is shown in a listview unencrypted but the username and passwords are shown still encrypted.

You can select the item and decrypt the password using your encryption key to get a message box of your account details.

GIF Here (Click to View)

It can decrypt special chars and all.

Since starting to use a GIF program I have enjoyed making small projects for people and sharing them.

Goddamn netseal theme 😑 Lazy beat me to it but you should either encrypt the passwords before they go into the txt or encrypt the document itself. Even at that someone can just decompile and after a short hunt they'll find the credentials needed to get through your log in form. But good for your first beginner project. Beats hello world lol

With the way I save it if they decompile all they get are encrypted accounts.

The unencrypted ones are not saved, They are unencrypted on the spot.

Would you mind releasing your source code?
As for publishing a single executable instead of a whole setup just go to your project folder > bin > debug > yourapplication.exe

That's it.
Looks alright :) Not using it tho, saw lots of these "password" savers already

Yeah I know the whole put it through an encryption sub proc with the key used to encrypt blah blah blah.
