No this is actually the other way around.
You could try it out yourself actually. If you take a look at the bottom of your document, where your size information is displayed, you will be able to set that to show>efficiency. If this is not 100%, allocating more ram tot photoshop will increase the efficiency.

Hope this helped

What would be the reason for you to think we are not specialists? Is there anything you feel we need to improve?
Could you guys help me improving a picture that I have made?

Thanks, Very nice thread!

What kind of improvement are you looking for ? Could you elaborate?
Show us the picture, the things you don't like, and the things you want improved.
How to deal with pain-in-the-ass clients ?
How to create a price for service ? On what basis we create price for a service we're offering? I'm 18 and Would really like to keep working as Graphic Designer in future.

I have pretty big experience with working in design, but only the past 1-2 years I've been working with clients and had to make decisions about pricing... before that I would compete on sites like 99designs, and put graphics on GraphicRiver.

Basically your pricing should be based on a couple of things:
  • Audience you're trying to reach

  • Duration of the production process

  • Difficulty of the process

  • Knowledge required

  • Supply and Demand

I'll give you an example. For instance, a thread design, will go here on HF for anywhere between $5 and $20. If you think you can satisfy highly paying premium customers ( meaning you need to create really High Quality Thread Designs), you can easily up your price up to $20.
However, if you apply the same concept to web design, you can easily ask like $150 for that quality, given the fact that the duration, difficulty and knowledge is a lot higher, whereas the Supply is a lot lower.

For pain-in-the-ass customers, most users her on HF will use the following scheme:

Customer contacts Designer -> Customer & Designer agree to a fixed price -> Customer pays half upfront -> Design process -> Feedback -> Payment of other half.

With this scheme customers will be less likely to be a dick to you given the fact that they've already paid you a certain amount.

Hope this helped.
