I live in New Zealand and I am also a proud supporter of the All Blacks. To start this off, my knowledge is quite diverse ranging from Computers to Cars so I shall do my best to tell what knowledge I posses. I'm a self taught web designer taking on HTML and CSS I have 1 published website to show my efforts. The Girlfriend Translator: http://www.thegirlfriendtranslator.net/ I'm a self taught coder. Self taught JavaScript and Python. I am yet to find a use for Python but I did use JavaScript in conjunction with my website above to handle translations and events. I have taken a break from coding as I have been focusing a little more on building computers and exploring different things such as game and app development but I shall detail those in another paragraph. For now I shall stick to coding. Like I said I have self taught JavaScript and Python knowledge which I will be refreshing again sometime soon. But in between then and now I do plan on starting my journey into PHP for web security. I had studied small portions of PHP to secure my website which sadly what I had learned has now diminished. I am also an aspiring indie game developer, nothing to show for my efforts in this part yet, I have been working on the basics of game development using the new Unity Engine. I have busted out a few playable levels but nothing I am willing to show just yet. For games I like to tackle more sinister or ominous looking games. The 2D Platformer I am working on is intended to give an eerie feeling during gameplay, music wise and graphic wise. It is hard for me to put what I am making into words as it is quite an intricate and different project. For a 3D game I am taking more of a post-apocalyptic stance with free roam exploration where a player has a multitude of exploration options. A player could find themselves in a city where every building is searchable and back alley customizable to an extent where it can be fortified or a lavish forest area with the dangers of wilderness and the need for survival. Right now I am currently building my first PC which I intend to use for a multitude of tasks such as app, game developments, music producing/recording, coding, gaming, streaming as well as many other things. On the music side I won't say I'm a musician but I won't lie musically I am some what talented to an extent. Having taught myself Piano, Drums, Bass/Guitar It has fueled a passion for music within me which I am grateful for. I don't listen to music, I appreciate music no matter the genre. Music to me is a persons way of expressing how they feel and when I listen to music people like I learn a lot about them. Whether it be their views on life, themselves or simply what is on their mind at the time. I have recorded a few songs with my guitar and made a few songs on FL Studio but I like instruments more. It feels better, right as opposed to making music on a computer which I have nothing against, but with a hand held instrument there is depth in your compositions. Meaning, feeling, life. I like music. I like Psychology and Sociology, I like the concept of understanding people's minds and the formation of the masses and they can be used for a good cause. Just something I thought I would throw in there. This is me, I feel like I have missed some things and when I remember them I will add them. I like to go through a few pages and help people out with what it is they are having trouble with. I did at one point become quite active in the E-Whoring section where I would help people make/set up methods that suit them free of charge. I would typically go on Skype, chat with them, show them how to make some earnings at certain way via screen share and then walk them through it as I do it and as I watch them copy what I did. I never liked having people pay for things I could learn for free, so I also everyone as best to my knowledge as I could to save them money. I guess another thing I could note is I did have an active Skype group with many members of Hackforums which was very well kept. Helped members out whether it be general problems in life, online or feuds between other members/groups. I always made sure the group was safe, flame free and threat free. Where do you see yourself (on Hack Forums) in the next 6 months?: I don't know where I see myself in 6 months in my life let alone Hackforums, but if I would to think of something, I'd say I'd see myself more as a daily contributor to the forum and it's users as opposed to the lurker I have become over the last few months. I would like to see myself in a group of like minded individuals whom also have a want for new knowledge whether it be old or now. I have always found it hard to find people who are into the same things as me although Hackforums is a large place. The task does prove tedious. I think being a part of a group would certainly surrounded me in people I can get a long with and more. How will joining this group help you reach where you want to be in those 6 months?: The fact I'm surrounded by easy going people with similar interests as me would give me an insane drive to improve my Hackforums presence, it might even make an impact in my every day life, knowing I have people to talk about things such as building computers, gaming, coding, etc would be a weight off of my back as opposed to suppressing my knowledge because not many people around me share my interests. Why should we pick you?: Honestly, I really can't say. I may seem appealing to you I may not. There maybe someone more suitable than me and you pick them, if there is and I doubt there won't be then I still support that decision. A better question would be. Why do you want to pick me? Because I'm an out of the box thinker, I tinker with bits of information to learn new things. I'm a free thinker with an open mind ready to process anything coming my way. In my eyes there's nothing I can't do because I believe I can do it. Where Do You See Yourself In 6 Months: Hopefully, and this is only if the planets align, managing a successful product, or selling one for someone else. I would like to have a decent understanding of a programming language or two by that time, and possibly be writing my own software. I would also like to have released a large number or tutorial, guide and informative threads for the topics that i take interest in. I have already written a few and have heaps more to come. I would also like to be the first person (in the last few years) to get the RAT award without having to buy the 'Master Donator', hopefully that will happen in the near future :3. Oh and i would also like to be a part of a enjoyable and skillful group, be it official or unofficial. BH looks like the perfect group for this, hence me applying to it. I would also like to get into alot of White Hack Hacking, with a focus on forensics and virus removal. How will joining this group help you reach where you want to be in those 6 months?: Interesting question this. The Brotherhood is filled with skillful people in almost all sectors of Hack Forums. I am sure that if i ran into any issues, had any questions or needed assistance with anything, the members of this group would be happy to help me. Hopefully i would be able to return this favor to others as well. The Brotherhood also has a VERY strong presence in the White Hat Help section. This section is something i have been very interested in joining, and being in this group would help that, without a doubt. Why should we pick you?: I am sure, without a doubt, that there are people applying to this group who are a lot more knowledgeable in their fields than I am. Saying that however, i have a very broad field of knowledge among several areas, and i am constantly looking to dive into other areas that are unknown to me. I am a generally nice person to be around, if i do say so myself. I respect everyone, and it is up to them if they loose my respect or not. I'll be helping out in the Innuendo section and hopefully have 1000+ posts there 6 months from now on. I'll also aim to become a mentor by then. How will joining this group help you reach where you want to be in those 6 months?: Gaining new connections, reconnecting with members I already know. It'll all add up in the long run. I believe in learning something from everyone. I might be good with computing or innuendo, but someone else can teach me about soccer or coding. The more I know, the more of it I can apply to my online and offline life. Maybe I'll even find some new partners to help me out with my innuendo advice. In truth every day in hackforums I learn new things and I get new ideas on a constant basis. So I can't say for sure what I will do in the next 6 months, but I can say for sure that I will do lots of stuff! How will joining this group help you reach where you want to be in those 6 months?: The Brotherhood is surely a resourceful group with a good work ethic. I think that joining The Brotherhood would be a way for me to get more educated, on the one hand, and more motivated, on the other hand. I notice that when you belong to an exceptional group like Brotherhood you feel a pressure to improve both your work ethics and your knowledge and I think that this is crucial to one's improvement.
