Only upgraded members would be able to sell if that was the case. I don't disapprove but something would have to be changed in regards to regular members having the option. Unless Omni just required people to upgrade to sell, which doesn't seem unreasonable.

Then only for those who create thread in the premium selling section (as you have to be upgraded to post there) ![]()

If they wanna be stupid and not enable 2FA that's their choice. bro that's like telling people it's their responsibility if they are hit by a wreckless driver but are law-abiding and careful drivers themselves i think the bigger idea of the 2fa forced thing is not to protect the seller but to protect the customer (Oct 22, 2016 07:53 PM)Stashy Wrote: 1) so that their account is protected by a second layer of security in the case of someone attempting to hijack their account and scam users So nobody could hijack my account and scam just because I am not a seller? Any account can get hijacked and be used to scam with. Does not matter if the hijacked account is a seller on the market or not... (Oct 22, 2016 07:58 PM)Mαxim Wrote: So nobody could hijack my account and scam just because I am not a seller? well no shit but if they were a seller they would be required to have 2fa on so in the case of them saying "it wasnt me i swear!!!" 2fa would prove differently (excluding extremely special cases which would require proof) as for a customer... it's up to the seller's discretion to sell to them this system wouldn't prevent scamming but regardless the community would do better than worse with sellers being required to have an extra layer of security added to their account (Oct 22, 2016 07:53 PM)Stashy Wrote: bro that's like telling people it's their responsibility if they are hit by a wreckless driver but are law-abiding and careful drivers themselvesIf you use a strong password and don't use them cross-platform, there won't be any issues. And also, someone can get ratted, so it's not like 2FA helps everything. For sale message me

Otherwise its a 1 time, 30 second thing and you just stay logged in on that device. Even the laziest of people would admit it's a fairly easy task. ![]() |
