1. will this API ever support webhooks (or REST Hooks)?
2. will it also one day support the Verify Secret feature?

Cause if the answer to both those questions is "yes" then my dream of a realtime hackforums is possible - right now it can be faked but anyone not using a realtime client will not trigger realtime events and users can impersonate each other if they have the commitment to reverse engineer client side API calls

Well, it's that kind of thinking & attitude that would lead to that situation, no? Be positive and grateful. The potentials of having this API be a success far outweigh any negative bias it could ever receive - Omni has tried to emphasise that point, have trust in him - he knows what he's doing

He does know what he is doing but this project hasn't moved in weeks/months.

This project would bring HF back to life IMO.

Partly my fault, I've been swamped with work and uni finals at the moment IRL, will hopefully get some good momentum going again in a couple of weeks once these are over :)
