Scientists discover possible existence of new planet the size of Mars in our solar system
Astronomers believe they have discovered a new planet in the solar system the size of Mars. This discovery supports suggestions from last year that another planet (nicknamed Planet 9) was discovered in the outer regions of the solar system orbiting the sun. Planet 9 was discovered after the observation that something was exerting a gravitational force on the objects in the Kupier Belt – an area of comets, the dwarf planet Pluto and huge icy objects beyond Neptune that encircles the whole solar system. >>Source

Sexually active? Be careful, new "Untreatable 'Super Gonorrhea'" spreads fast
Gonorrhea is a relatively common STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) that can be an unexpected nuisance. Fortunately enough, it's short-term and treatable. A drug-resistant gonorrhea made headlines last week however, earning the title "super gonorrhea" with its ability to outlast most treatments. If left untreated, even without noticeable symptoms, gonorrhea can cause serious complications. Those include pelvic inflammatory disease (which may cause pain, fever, ectopic pregnancy, and infertility), and epididymitis (which may cause infertility). In rare cases it can lead to disseminated gonococcal infection, which can be fatal; the infection spreads to the blood and causes tenosynovitis (inflammation of the sheath around a tendon), arthritis, and dermatitis (a skin rash). Luckily for all of us (and our sex lives), there's a new drug nearing final clinical trials. In the meantime, be responsible, and wrap your willy. >>Source

G20 Agree on Climate Deal While Ongoing Clashes Happen Throughout Hamburg
The leaders of 19 nations at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, have renewed their pledge to implement the Paris deal on climate change, despite the US pulling out. A deadlock over the issue had held up the meetings, but eventually, a final agreement was reached. US President, Donald Trump, noted how the Paris agreement was trying to disadvantage American workers and is soon trying to revitalize the American coal industry, causing obvious conflicts. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said in her closing news conference how she still deplored Mr. Trump's position on the agreement but was gratified that the other 19 nations opposed its renegotiation. Unfortunately, Mr. Trump and Russian President, Vladimir Putin, was not a welcome sight for many as protests began in the city. Many protesters have caused significant damage, setting fire to vehicles and barricades, throwing rocks at officers, and looting shops. >>Source

Japanese Company Charged Over Employee Suicide
One of Japan's largest advertising agencies, Dentsu, has been charged after an employee committed suicide due to being overworked. Matsuri Takahashi, 24, killed herself in 2015 and friends say she had been kept so busy by the company she only slept 10 hours a week. Death from being overwork is a common occurrence in Japan, so much so that it even has its own word: karoshi. Ms. Takahashi had worked up to 100 hours of overtime for many months before her death. She died on Christmas Day, 2015. A note left behind for Ms. Takahashi's mother included the line: "Why do things have to be so hard?" The company is being reported to have been charged for the death by prosecutors, who are also seeking a large fine. Kyodo news agency quoted Ms. Takahashi's mother as saying she was "unconvinced" about the lack of charges over her daughter's superiors. This high-profile case has once again renewed calls for changes to Japan's horrible working ethics which include long working hours and illegal unpaid overtime. >>Source

122 Countries Approve Ban On Nuclear Weapons
A first of its kind, 122 countries approve the first-ever treaty to ban nuclear weapons, after a meeting at the United Nations. The meeting was boycotted by all nuclear-armed countries. To a large amount of applause, Elayne Whyte Gomez, president of the U.N. conference that has been negotiating the treaty, announced the results to the vote - 122 nations in favor, the Netherlands opposed, and Singapore abstaining. Ms. Gomez noted how the "world has been waiting for this legal norm for 70 years,"ever since the use of the first atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan on August 1945 at the end of World War II. The treaty will be open for signatures in September and will come into force once 50 countries have ratified it. The move requires the five original weapons powers — the U.S., Russia, Britain, France, and China, into looking at nuclear disarmament and to guarantee non-nuclear states access to peaceful nuclear technology for producing energy. >>Source

Fallout 4 Under Fire for 'Repugnant' Ads as 'the Wanderer' Singer Files Suit
Bethesda is currently under heat for using Dion DiMucci's hit "The Wanderer," which was a very popular pop song from the 60's, in their Fallout 4 game. Not only can the song be played while roaming around the New England Commonwealth, but the song was also played during the live action trailer on YouTube that was released back in 2015. Dion isn't too happy that Bethesda used his song and is requesting ZeniMax Media to remove it from the game and to remove the trailer off of YouTube. Dion is also suing the company for what he says is over a million dollars in damage done. DiMucci believes that ZeniMax, which is the parent company of Bethesda, has broken the terms of the contract that were made. The contract stated that DiMucci had the right to refuse the use of the song at any given time if he did not approve of the way it was being used. Dion says that the showing of homicides and a dark dystopian landscape was not what he wanted the song to be represented by and that the game glorified death and killing people like it was a sport. Dion's defense was, "In The Wanderer, Dion gives life to the story of a sad young man who wanders from town to town, not having found himself or the capacity for an enduring relationship. The song describes isolation during coming of age." >>Source

Android 7.1 Will Offer a Panic Detection Mode for Malware Exposure
Many people are unaware that even their phones can be hacked nowadays. For others, it is no surprise. Phone companies are doing their best at what they need to do to successfully secure the phones that they sell. In order to do that, these companies are adding various different security measures that will hopefully not only protect the device itself but to also teach the user to be safer. In the current state of mobile devices, most of them are at an all-time-low. However, Google is stepping up their security game with the Android 7.1 and the "Panic Detection Mode". This new feature seeks out any malware on the phone and disposes of it. The code of the Panic Detection Mode (PDM for short) works in the background to see how many times the back button is being pressed. If it notices a program constantly going back more than four times, the PDM software will be activated. After that, it closes whatever is triggering the home button so many times and returns the user to the home screen. If deemed malicious, the code will the uninstall and delete all the files that triggered the PDM activation. The feature is no secret and has been out for a while now, but most recently has gotten more appreciation than it did before. >>Source

Avanti, a Self-Service Food Kiosk Vendor, Is Hacked
Whether it be a kiosk vendor for selling things like Apple Products all the way to food, these devices are vulnerable any minute to being hacked. For example, most recently one of the Avanti self-service food kiosk machines was recently hacked. If you have been to an airport and a mall, most likely you have seen one of these and understand what is being talked about. Avanti specifically specializes in the food department when it comes to self-service kiosks. Not only one machine was hacked, but all of them. There was a breach in the company's internal networks that allowed the hackers to carry out a malicious program that later would cause the payment system of the kiosks to be hacked. This is tremendously bad due to the fact that user information can possibly be stolen from the machine considering that they use credit cards to accept payments for the food inside the kiosk. Avanti has taken action to prevent the hacking from continuing, and all payment for credit cards is temporarily disabled. In addition, those investigating the malware that was executed into the system networks were said to be a malware known as PoSeidon. >>Source

Indian Hackers 'Release Details of 1.7 Million Snapchat Users' After App's CEO Is Accused of Calling India a Poor Country
A group of anonymous Indian hackers asserts that they have gained access to over 1.7 million Snaptchat users information because of Snapchat CEO's, Evan Spiegel's, comment on India. In addition, the hackers have stated that they posted this information on the deep web. In Snapchat's defense, CEO Evan Spiegel would like to inform everyone that the anonymous hackers are bluffing and no breach has occurred, and they are all talk. In addition, Spiegel says that he never said anything rude about India. These hackers put out that the CEO allegedly called India a "poor country" as well as an app for "rich people only". The reputation of one of the most popular social media apps has gone down extensively, with angry consumers rating the app low on the Apple store. Another way some of these protestors are trying to stop snapchatters from using the application is by leaving comments on the reviews such as, "#UninstallSnapchat" and "#BoycottSnapchat". A spokesperson publicly apologized and said that what they heard was most likely a mistake and that everyone should feel free to use the application. >>Source
