Help With Creating a DD-WRT Bridge

Does anyone perchance know how to configure an old Linksys WRT-160N router with DD-WRT firmware to be a bridge to a Westell 9100EM router?

The wiki feels incredibly esoteric and hard to understand to my untrained eyes.
I think I understood the information it had, but I am unsure as to whether I need to configure my main router in some way or if I made an error in configuring the bridge since.

The bridge itself is not getting assigned an IP address.
you change the IP of the other router to something different then pug in the "WAN port" to one of the ports of the primary router.
I have 4 linksys routers chained together working perfectly.

1st router is Default.

I have the Linksys configured to have a static IP, but I'm trying to set this up over Wi-Fi.
When I look at the device list under the Westell control panel, the MAC address shows up, but there is no IP address.
It just says "Unknown".
Do both routers need to be configured to use static IP addresses?

EDIT:

The more I read around on the wiki, the more unsure I am as to whether a bridge is what I want.
