So the official website has launched which is dedicated to stopping piracy of anime. In one sense I fully support what they are doing, and the way they've gone about it (so far) is great, offering legitimate alternatives which will support the industry. What I'm worried about is how this will affect the western anime community. There's plenty of anime which aren't aired legally here in the West, and especially for me in Britain - so it leaves me with no choice but to stream/download sometimes.
For those wondering, here's an image robbed from Hummingbird of which sites are being planned to be shut down by MAG:

It would be wonderfull if you only had to get 1 subscription instead off 5 different subscriptions.
Sigh the age of me entering subscriptions has finally started, well i actually don't mind. but it's gonna be a bother for other people.
JPDDL and Kissanime are the two alts I use if I can't get something legit. Both on the list. cri
Hmm I dont see ANimeBytes on there or im overlooking it xD
Wait, they plan to remove copyrighted content from these sites or completely shut down all of them? Because Youtube, Pandora, and even MySpace (lol) are on that list, second column to the right
Don't see it either. Possible because it's a private tracker so it's behind closed doors.
Batato is going down? Welp I don't really know where else to read complete series apart from the scanlators website.. Or MangaFox (inb4agsrages).
The one's that's going to be left are free scanlators and i don't think a few groups can work on all the mangas lol.
RIP
fuck, nyaa.se and kissanime are on the list :(
Time to open a private invite only site i guess...
