Welcome to the Eclipse Member of the Year Nomination thread for 2016!
One special member in 2016 will win our Member Of The Year contest and with it a Official Hack Forums award:
Based on their contributions throughout the community and winning the majority vote in the poll. Every member has the potential to win the award, but the decision is made by the combined efforts of the community and Eclipse members.
The Nomination phase begins today and ends on Tuesday, December 12th, 2016!
This is your chance to determine who gets placed on the poll. You may only nominate one person, so make your nomination count! To nominate a member, all you have to do is follow the guidelines in this thread and post your nomination as a response.
Any member that fits the following requirements is eligible to be nominated:
- Minimum of 500 posts
- 0% warning status
- Has not received the MOTM award previously
- Non-staff member (you can still nominate mentors and ex-staff)
- Has contributed in some public way throughout the year of 2016 (group forums do not count)
- Must have at least 10 examples.
- Is not in the Eclipse Usergroup
- No valid scam reports.
A nomination post must contain the linked username of the member being nominated, followed by a minimum of ten of their contributions that occurred within the year, and a reason why they deserve the award.
NOTE: Contribution links don't have to necessarily be threads, but can also be links to specific posts.

Reason: He is passioned for graphics design, looking at Omni, Minimalist, xadamxk, my own, and many others avatars, you can see that he is good at is as well. Novica have made so much for this forum that we users are not aware of, I happen to know a few things but that is only because I chat with him sometimes. Let's have a look at Hackforum's official avatar gallery, some entire galleries are made by Novica himself. Then not only that, Omni is a webmaster and not a gfx master, so occasionally he asks help from Novica and he gladly helps him out.
Not only that, just like any admin, staff or mentor, he does a lot of work as a mentor that we users does not really notice. So, considering how much he does for this forum, seen and unseen, that is why I nominates him for the award. He does work for Omni, us, and HackForums in general, I never see him ask for things in return, so it is time.

Wow, an account that's a little over a year old, and you're already giving out an award. Congrats to you, Views.
Most of these people do not receive any praise or recognition for their work, so this will be a cool way to award them. Hopefully it encourages other members to contribute more. Good luck to everyone.
