The headphone jacks in the rear of my computer work, but not the ones in the front. It tells me nothing is plugged in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling driver, running windows trouble shooter. Tons of googling and nothing seems to be working. The driver is showing High Definition Audio device for the front. Any ideas? Thanks!

I just bought this build, I can't confirm that they have ever worked as I didn't try them until I had windows 10 installed upon receiving the PC. Everything else on the computer works great so I would assume they do, just not the right drivers. The back output still works as well (Both of the rear inputs, 4 total). Just the front ones do not, however the USB drives right next to them do work. It's specifically the headphone jack. (Jan 13, 2017 05:12 PM)Yani Wrote: That's what I'm guessing. If the backside works then plugging something in the front instantly mutes it. The backside doesn't mute when I plug something into it, however thats a good wiring technique. Going out tonight, so I'll dig into it tomorrow and post back! Thanks for the help yani! |
