Alright guys, so I have a Samsung notebook. About 2 weeks ago I noticed a "plugged in but not charging" after my laptop wouldn't stay on without being plugged into the charger. I'm currently at 8%, and it'll continue decreasing. My question for anyone who's dealt with this is, once it hits 0% will the laptop not turn on, and completely stop working? I've looked into the issue, although I have windows 8, I've tried the method to fix the device manager and it didn't work so I'm assuming my laptop battery is shot, I just have to order a new battery. I think there about $15 via. amazon. Any help would be useful, thanks!

I keep it completely plugged in, as-is, if it's not plugged in it won't work. My question is once it reaches 0% will it not work at all (even when plugged in) I just don't know how long the battery shipping will be. Laptops will operate without a battery, I dropped mine in water and went without one plugged in for like a month while I decided whether or not to go and get one. Thanks for the feedback. |
