I'm not a native as you might've guessed, but I'm pretty decent with my words;)
I want to expand my vocabulary a bit, what is the best, most effective way to do this in 1 year?

Reading books will be your best option.
Hi,
I'd advise you to read books, novels, and be confident enough to speak; no matter how you are pronouncing words. Forget about your dialect and keep practicing. That is how you'll find the flaws and would be able to embrace and keep working on your skills.
Nevertheless, I had a thought regarding the same and decided to offer a mentoring service as well.

I actually dont have an accent at all, i have no problem speaking English, the thing is I want to add a bit to my shit you know what I mean?
Dictionary.com has a word of the day haha. I would focus on more complex words, and that site is actually a pretty solid source for learning new stuff. As mentioned, books are always good.
Reading books or listening to audiobooks is your best bet.

Listen to movies but don't watch them. Just listen to the words.

Yes, I totally get you. The only way is to speak, learn new words, and adapt (for a while). ✌
