Graphics Processor

Will I bottleneck?

Hey guys, I have been thinking about upgrading my GPU to something like the RTX 2060 Super

I'm really beginner at this stuff, but here's my specs:

Will it be worth it with my current specs?

Also how do I find out about how many Watts I have left to spend?

Edit: my processor is: Intel Core i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
What's your power supply?

It wont bottleneck, just make sure that your psu is good(atleast gold rated) and enough to handle the gpu.

Thanks a lot
How do I find that out about my power supply?

Open your case and check it. There is no software that can identify your PSU.

It's covered by some sort of shield sadly, cant identify what model it is :/

Shield? Upload a picture here.
I doubt the PSU is a problem if it already handles a GTX 1060. A GTX 2060 only pulls 40W more. A good 450W PSU or mediocre 500W PSU is fine.

Cant post right now, but yeah, the label is facing towards a some kind of case shield.. I would have to pull the whole thing apart to take a look at the label.

That's good to know, thank you, might just take the chance

The wattage isnt the only variable when looking at PSU's quality. The most important thing is its rating, ie atleast a gold+ rating for those high end components is a must. U dont want a random brand not even rated PSU to die on u and potentionally kill your valuable components.

Are there differences between newer 450W PSU's and older ones? I have a old Corsair PSU but I'm not sure if it would handle a newer card.

It is built by a professional and very well known company in my country, so I am 100% sure it is not a bad power supply. However, I just dont know how much watt it can do

Test it out. Do few stress tests, if PC doesnt shut down u are fine. Well idk who made it but a company that builds PC's is kinda meh tbh with u. There isnt anything hard in building PC's so its hard for me to believe they actually gave u a good PSU, i could be wrong tho.

It's the #1 selling company in Denmark im pretty sure (so not just some random company), the thing is, I bought it used so I'm not sure what PSU it is
