To be honest, it really can't. It has too much institutional money in it now and also many bitcoin hardliners that would never sell. I don't see any risk anymore that it can completely vanish. Price drops: yes, for sure. Panic sells: also for sure - In the long run I think it already has reached a market cap where it has become "too big to fail" and also technology wise there are little risks:
- because of growing blockchain size, only fewer people run full nodes → centralization risk
- also the hash rate of the network might drop, when it becomes even less profitable for miners → also centralization risk / risk of 51% attacks
- elliptic curve trap function is not proven to be "hard to crack" it is just assumed. Might also be a subject to be cracked by quantum computers, but i have no idea about that, so DYOR
- Big Players like Strategy → centralization risk


These are the risks I came up with. Compared to pretty much any other financial product, these risks seem very manageable to me. Especially given the potential upside if you compare the market cap to other markets such as the gold market cap - and that is without calculating in the USD inflation and the deflationary nature of BTC (just take a guess how many BTC are still in wallets where the owner didn't loose the seed phrase yet)

Never say "can't." The blockchain relies on the Internet and specialized hardware and is subject to governmental policy. Put plainly, Bitcoin does not exist in any physical sense.
