Adding New Official Group By @Omniscient@
A new idea for new members is in its early stages where @Omniscient@ is looking for a little bit of feedback about the idea where they want to have new members have the role of "HF Member" instead of the current method where a new user would be awaiting activation and then once approved, moved to registered. The whole idea has come around as a new way to tackle the bots joining the website. With the new method, we could also see a few new awards being used for members with the new roles being put in place.
New Banner Ad Position By @Omniscient@
A brand new place to place your ads has now gone live on site. The ad spot is for those who are not upgraded, so if you have upgraded you will not see the ad as you might all lose it from that. But with the new placement, it means those who use ads on the site will have a new spot for even more traffic you may be after. We have also been told with the ad spot you would expect around 200 to 300 views per day. These numbers could make a big difference in your product or service.
Game Concept - DDoS Arena By @Omniscient@
This is an older thread that has been around for a little while now, but recently we have got word that the concept is now in progress to becoming a real thing. This means the long awaited DDoS Arena area within the HF Game will no longer be a dream for some but a reality. We are expecting to see some more news very soon about the little project and may even see early gameplay from the concept within the next few weeks.

▸ [Tutorial] Snapchat resolve from phone number
by @Sift@
A short but useful reminder of how much information can be exposed through basic app features. @Sift@ breaks down how Snapchat contact syncing can connect a saved phone number to a visible account, while also pointing out the limits: the number has to be linked, discovery settings matter, and privacy choices can block the match. A simple thread, but also a good reminder that phone numbers are still one of the easiest bridges between real identity and social profiles.
▸ Are you ready for a new era of human understanding?
by @Hackers@
A passionate thread that goes beyond the usual UFO discussion and turns into something bigger: curiosity, secrecy, technology, belief, and how people react when the official story feels incomplete. @Hackers@ lays out his thoughts on UAPs, plasmoids, hidden propulsion systems, government wording, and the danger of blindly trusting anyone who claims to have all the answers. Whether you agree with the theories or not, it is one of those threads that pushes members to look up, think bigger, and stay skeptical at the same time.
▸ What is the difference ?
by @Bogoss@
A good beginner discussion about how web security has changed over the last decade. What starts as a simple question turns into a useful comparison between the old days of easier flaws and today's landscape of stronger frameworks, Cloudflare, CMS/plugin risks, AI-generated websites, and subtle logic mistakes. The replies from @casperr@ , @Unknown@ , @DeathPenalty666@ , and @MadScientist@ make the thread more valuable by showing that modern web hacking is less about pressing buttons and more about understanding systems. A solid read for newer members trying to understand why skill matters more now than just having the right tool.
▸ Tails OS Issue
by [mention=5448725]
A practical troubleshooting thread around Tails, Secure Boot warnings, and outdated UEFI certificate databases. [mention=5448725] brings up a confusing warning even after updating Windows and disabling Secure Boot, while @5chn4pp@ gives a clear explanation pointing toward BIOS/UEFI updates and Microsoft UEFI CA certificates. One of those small support threads that can save someone a lot of guessing, especially when privacy tools start throwing warnings that are easy to misunderstand.
▸ How do you visit HackForums?
by [mention=123]
A simple community poll that gives a small but interesting look at how members actually use HF today. Some are strictly desktop users, others mainly browse from mobile, and a few switch depending on whether they are working, traveling, or just checking in casually. It also sparks a bit of nostalgia about how far the mobile experience has come compared to the older forum days. Not every notable thread needs to be technical — sometimes the useful part is seeing how the community itself interacts with the site.
▸ How to make money with AI?
by @Mons@
A relatable thread for anyone with technical skills who feels stuck between freelancing and building something bigger. @Mons@ explains that he has AI/data skills, capital, and time, but wants to move beyond glorified employment into an actual AI business. The replies touch on content creation, client automation, CI/CD improvements, automated documentation, code review, and the bigger opportunity of making client data usable for AI systems. A strong reminder that the real AI money is not always in flashy agents, but in solving boring, expensive problems that businesses already have.
