$2k July Contest By Omniscient

The Hack Forums July contest is now underway, celebrating the month of July and America's 250th Anniversary with plenty of prizes up for grabs. This months event features cash prizes, Bytes, and permanent upgrades, with every winner also receiving the Lucky Drawing award . Members can earn entries by creating threads, posting around the forum, or referring a new member who upgrades to L33t. With multiple random drawings taking place everyone has a chance to walk away with something. This months contest is sponsored by loadman and Virtualine so be sure to check out the contest thread for the full details, and don't forget to join us in thanking them both for helping make this event possible. To be eligible qualifying threads, posts, and referrals must be made during July (GMT -8). All winners will be selected at random during the first week of August. Good luck to everyone taking part and we hope to see plenty of members getting involved throughout the month!

Sony's Disc Era Ends

Playstation have announced starting in January 2028 new released games will be digital only. Sony plans to reintroduce digital game cards into stores to give customers and retailers a physical option.

PlayStation Movie Library Removals

Sony have sent out notices stating that 550 Studio Canal digital movies that have been purchased by users will be removed from their library on September 1st, this is due to expired licensing agreements. Opening many users eyes to the risk of digital ownership.

Xbox Game Pass Perks & Sales

Xbox started July of with some massive sales, reducing more than 30 titles by 90-95% some included titles are Funko Fusion, Zombie Army Trilogy and Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition.
