Introduction:
I decided as a bit of a regular drinker, a fun idea would be to start a blog series on reviewing different types of beer. I will start with some of my Favorite beers and then try some of your recommendations. I will provide insight on what flavour notes are and a few other facts about the beer.
The way I will do this is I will purchase at least two of the beers, I will drink one and note down my thoughts. I will then have one (or more) of the beers as I create this thread.

Which Beer
This beer was a recommendation from a member on HF. Cheers to @Cammy@ for this suggestion. The beer that I am reviewing is abeer that I have never tried before. I decided that the most fun way to do this series is to review a beer that I have tried and know, and then a beer that I haven't tried, and run it in that pattern. The beer that I am reviewing is called Duvel Belgion Strong Blond. [/b]

Location and Stats
Duvel is brewed by Duvel Moortgat Brewery in Belgium. The company started in 1871 and is to this day still a family owned business. This deserves massive credit given it hasn't sold out in over 100 years. The beer sits higher than most beers on the market and any beer that I have tried. The strongest type of beer that I personally have had is an IPA which normally sits around 6% ABV. The Duvel sits at a whopping 8.5% ABV (Alcohol by volume). There mere 330ml bottle is 2.2 standard drinks.

Flavour profile
So the flavour profile is a smooth dry blonde beer. You will taste a bit of citrus, apple, banana and hops. It is quite bitter so expect that.

My Thoughts
I actually really enjoyed the experience. I found it a beer very similar tasting to Heineken. I don't know if I would drink a lot of it as I am used to a lower strength beer. Heineken isn't my first choice but something to start a night, I would drink it again. I did notice that this beer was very "hoppy" so if you're a big beer lover you would enjoy this.
Let me know what your thoughts are on this series and pop some suggestions of beers you'd like me to try and review.
