Stanley Threads By Omniscient

Stanley auto threads have sadly been disabled this week. Omniscient has stated that the threads don't seem to be getting the attraction they hoped for and with this the threads have been disabled for the future. This will also mean that the Award Goal is no longer going to be achievable. With this news, a better version will be created with AI to generate future content. We don't have a date for the updated version yet, but we will let everyone know when this happens.

Referral Program for $5 in XMR By Omniscient

Omniscient has recently shared a new referral benefit where, if you personally refer someone to the site, and they upgrade to the group L33t, you will gain a monetary award. The thread isn't 100% with the figures just yet, as they look to be just throwing out the idea to see what the community thinks of the idea and what it could bring moving forward. But if you think you could help with this and see if you could help new members join the site, feel free to share your insight on the thread, and you could gain some free money and help the community grow even more.

Hack Forums Monthly Picks - Vote for your favorite member, group and thread!
by MarlboroMan

A genuinely fun community project that brings back the spirit of the old recognition systems in a fresh way. MarlboroMan introduced Monthly Picks as a simple, clean voting initiative for Member of the Month, Group of the Month, and Thread of the Month, and the response was instantly positive. What makes this stand out is not just the idea itself, but the fact that it gives members a new way to spotlight the people, groups, and threads they feel made the month better. It feels like one of those features that helps strengthen the identity of the forum without overcomplicating anything.

Google AI Studio 2.0 Antigravity Coding Agent Changes Full Stack Development
by JoseMar

An engaging thread on one of the more interesting shifts happening in AI-assisted development right now. JoseMar breaks down Google's Antigravity Coding Agent in a way that feels conversational but still thought-provoking, especially around the idea that coding is slowly becoming less about writing every piece manually and more about supervising systems that already understand context. The post touches on persistent project awareness, automated Firebase setup, real-time multiplayer capabilities, and the broader question of where the developer's role goes next. A strong read for anyone watching the line between "tool" and "co-builder" get blurrier by the month.

Building a Local Speech-to-Text API with OpenAI's Whisper
by Yakless

A high-value educational post that manages to be both practical and easy to follow. Yakless walks readers through setting up a fully local transcription API with Whisper and FastAPI, covering not only the code but also the reasoning behind model choice, CPU-friendly settings, VAD filtering, timestamps, and chaining the output into a broader local AI pipeline. It is the kind of thread that gives people something immediately useful to build, while also reinforcing the bigger idea that powerful AI workflows do not always need external APIs or cloud dependency. Exactly the sort of technical share that makes the AI sections worth checking regularly.

Claude Code just added /dream - a "sleep cycle" for the memory system
by Oh_Well

A really interesting thread centered on a subtle but important problem in agent design: memory quality over time. Instead of just celebrating longer context and persistent notes, this post focuses on what happens when memory becomes bloated, contradictory, and noisy - and why Claude Code's new /dream approach matters. The idea of periodically consolidating, pruning, and rewriting memory to keep an agent useful feels like a meaningful step forward, not just a flashy feature drop. One of those posts that quietly highlights where the next real breakthroughs in AI tooling may come from.

Hacknet, New Hacking MMO/Idle [ Need feedback ]
by purplelepro

A cool indie project showcase that taps directly into the browser-based hacker sim fantasy many HF users instantly understand. purplelepro shares an early version of Hacknet, a live multiplayer MMO/idle experience built around attacking targets, upgrading rigs, deploying malware-themed mechanics, mining crypto, and climbing a shared leaderboard. What makes the thread notable is that it is not pretending to be finished - it is an honest request for feedback at a stage where community ideas can still shape the direction of the game. Always nice to see builders bringing rough but promising projects to the forum instead of waiting until everything looks polished.

Death Stranding 2 Giveaway - Steam Key By 7

Are you a gamer? Looking for a new game to play? 7 has got you covered with a game giveaway, something we haven't seen too much of on the site as of recently. The giveaway is due to the host getting a spare key as they recently got a new laptop and the key came with the new product and the user has already got the game. The giveaway shares that it will end in a week from the posted date, so get yourself on the thread before the 4th of April to get your chance to win a free game.
