NEW FEATURE: Branch Cite

   

A new feature has arrived on Hack Forums, Branch Cite. The idea is to branch the post you cite off to a new thread in the same or new subforum of your choosing. When you begin the branch cite, you'll be given a few subforum suggestions. To better understand the purpose of this feature, think of it like a crosspost on Reddit which allows you to copy a post into a different subreddit or Twitter's threads where you can start a new thread of tweets from within the original tweet.

Bi-Weekly Editions

   

For the next few editions, we will be publishing every other week. We are working on getting more journalists to join the HF News Team so if you are interested, please apply on our W4TCHL1ST      invitational thread. We are also making improvements behind the scenes to produce better quality editions. This temporary schedule will give the team the time we need to make all these changes. El Salvadore Adopts Bitcoin
In a tweet made on June 6, the president of El Salvadore revealed that there shall be no capital gains tax for Bitcoin. Why, you may ask? The answer is simple; it shall soon be recognized as a legal currency. The legislation to make it a legal currency shall be presented to congress for politicians to vote on. To go one step further, Bukele, the president, intends to grant immediate permanent residency to crypto entrepreneurs. According to reports, politicians in other Latin American countries are looking to follow in El Salvadore's footsteps and are considering adopting Bitcoin.

PayPal to Soon Allow Crypto Withdrawals
The global online payments system PayPal is planning to enable cryptocurrency withdrawals soon. Vice President Jose Fernandez da Ponte stated at the Consensus 2021 conference that the company wants "to make it as open as possible". Users could potentially expect to see this rolled out within the next few months, although it is unclear when it shall be released. >>Source     

GameStop is Building an NFT Platform
Collectible non-fungible tokens are the latest cryptocurrency trend and veteran gaming retailer GameStop is looking to join in. A new webpage has appeared revealing that the company is building a team of engineers familiar with Solidity, React, and Python to help bring the platform to fruition. Additionally, they are looking for designers, gamers, marketers, and community leaders. It is fair to say that they appear to be taking the project seriously. Edens Zero New Trailer And Release Date
As part of Netflix's Geeked Week celebrations they releaded the first trailer for Edens Zero. Edens Zero is based on Mashima's manga and in it's new trailer Netflix reveals the series premiere date! The anime Edens Zero is based on the manga by the same name written by Hiro Mashima. Edens Zero follows the young boy Shiki Granbell, who boards the Edens Zero starship to find the cosmic goddess, Mother. Along for the ride are aspiring social media influencer Rebecca Bluegarden and her robotic cat, Happy.

   
   

In 2020 the creator of the manga, Mashima, already annouced about the upcoming anime. The anime is produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Yushi Suzuki. The chief director is Shinji Ishihara. The anime will premiere on Netflix on August 26. >>Source

Funimation Will Release One Punch Man Season 2 on September 13
Funimation finally revealed their release date for One Punch Man Season 2. On Spetember 13, Funimation studios will release the new and second season of the anime One Punch Man as a DVD, Blue0ray and a Limited Edition that includes six art cards and a 60 page art book.


One Punch Man Season 2 description:
"In the wake of defeating Boros and his mighty army, Saitama has returned to his unremarkable everyday life in Z-City. However, unbeknownst to him, the number of monsters appearing is still continuously on the rise, putting a strain on the Hero Association's resources. Their top executives decide on the bold move of recruiting hoodlums in order to help in their battle. My Hero Academia World Heroes' Mission Film's Trailer Reveals
My Hero Academia is a rising anime that most anime lovers are very excited about. On Jun 15 we received a trailer for the new and 3rd movie of the anime "World Heroes' Mission" by TOHO. The trailer also reveals the new theme son for the anime "Empathy" by by Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

   

   

The story of the new film goes about a new mysterious organization that aims to destroy people with Quirks. In order to do so the vilians set bombs all over the world for our loved heros to deal with.
