The whole idea is pretty cool. There was a place where i use to live that did the same thing but with consoles.. It was really fun

It would be probably best to buy the computer parts in bulk, and build them yourself.

If your budget is $40k USD for 30 computers, than you have more than enough to build 40 computers. It only takes about $1k usd to build a gaming machine capable of playing most games on high/ultra presets. Tho that depends on what you want to offer your customers, you could build 30 high end machines packing 7970's at that budget also. Which would make for quite a bitcoin farm (over 20550 MHash/s). Which according to alloscomp would bring in around 2 coins per day or 15 coins per week if ran 24/7 ($100/$700).

You could always write some software, if the machine has been idleing for more than 10 minutes. Then switch over to farm mode. So the machines will farm on their own when customers aren't using them. So you can have customers in and out of the shop and the machines will auto configure themselves to farm when not in use. It would take a little bit of work to get it just right, but its better than the PC being turned on sitting there doing nothing. 👍
