1. If you're simply printing in black and white, look into laser printers. They're more expensive up front but you'll save massively in the long run on ink.
2. If you need to use an inkjet or similar printer, and print an above average amount, check out continuous supply systems for your printer. In most cases it's not hard to find one compatible with your printer. Vouch for this method, I bought a refill for my inkjet printer once...then I did some calculations...aaaand then I gout a laser printer instead ;) For me tho, I print with colors and it's still waaaaaay cheaper.
Don't you have any shops around you that sell inkt for a cheaper price?
Or find webshops that offer them for cheap online. I haven't switched over to a laser printer yet, but I am curious in the quality of color prints with them. Honestly, I don't print photos, most likely because the quality, or should I say lack of quality ;) If I want something in color out that looks nice then I usually go to a store a few blocks from here, they "print" stuff out in the exact size you want and with excellent quality. For me tho, I only go there maybe 3-5 times per year. Oh and if you are curious, I roll with a 'good' old HP Color LaserJet 4600n (that stopped responding after the latest w10 update so have to print from my backup rig). |
