Good read (Not what happened to you, but in general).
I'm glad you're okay, and it could've been a lot worse. This is exactly why I ALWAYS wear seatbelt.
I've got no serious car crash story to share, but I do have a bike crash story if that's alright 😏
I was like 10 years old and me and my friend wanted to go to the store. It was about a 15 minute walking distance so we took his bike instead and because he didn't have this thing that many bikes has on the back wheel (that you can sit on), I had to sit between him and the steering handle lol it's kinda hard to explain but we had done this many times before.
So we're about halfway there and there's this road that goes downhill which has plently of traffic and we're just rolling down this road on the sidewalk. Until my foot kinda slips and gets stuck between the front bicycle wheel rim.
My foot became a very effective emergency brake which not only obliterated my entire foot but also made us do a double front flip, making me fall on my head and right into the trafficked road. This car JUST BARELY managed to turn last second and not drive right into me. My friend got away with just a couple of bruises and I had only broken my foot with some head bleeding, but no serious head injury (even tho I had no helmet).
I was very lucky and I'm so glad the car driver paid attention to the road. Luckily smartphones didn't exist back then.

If that car hit you that would of gone completely different man. At only 10 years old huh? Haha, damn. This was the first time I've broken anything in my life and I'm 18.

Yup could have been very different. Maybe I would have been in a wheelchair sitting in front of the PC 24/7 and bought a few hundred BTC when they were 7 cents 🤦♂

I know man, I am very grateful.
About a day. I was just very sore.
This signature is for sale.
I went to the chiropractor today and I feel so euphoric right now. My spine was seriously curved and it's way better now.
Not fixed all the way of course from just one appointment.. but I'll keep going back for a few weeks.
I feel so much straighter now. Really, really bad alignment after that car crash haha.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Damn thats scary Happy you are ok tho!
Wow, scary story.
Take care and be more careful in the future!!!
So how is it going with the medications, don't use too much of it.
Two things that do not exist; unicorns and a bad scene in the Godfather.

Sometimes I do like to take opioids once every week or two just for a nice high (this is the safe way to do it). I got 50x 10mg pills and I have about 40 left at this point. Probably just going to save the rest to use for the next 6 months or so.
Who is that fat insurance check coming from? Are you suing the idiot driver? Glad you're okay, man.

I'm just collecting insurance settlements. Should be getting his settlement early this upcoming week. Then, as soon as I receive the settlement from his insurance, I can get excess from my parents' insurance settlement because my name is on the plan. That's where the really big chunk of money is going to come from, but that could take longer to collect. I'm also getting 5k or something for "emergency medical bills".. should of gotten it already but it should also be coming early this upcoming week.
Don't even have to sue the driver.. even though I definitely would if I needed to.
Fuck man, glad you're alive after this.
Bless your recovery.
I've been in so many car accidents. All of the accidents I've been in just caused a lot of anxiety to the point where I was just scared to be alive.
I'm very glad you are out of the hospital and aren't giving up. Keep taking pain medication to help you out and pm me if you wanna talk ever op! Good luck to you!

The PTSD is slowing down, but fuck, I hate driving myself now. Keep thinking I'm going to run into everyone, or get rear-ended. Fucking sucks man, hopefully it passes smoothly. It's the process though so I'm not in a big rush.
You should share your experiences in this thread, I'm genuinely curious.

Well I got oxycodone if those pain meds ain't working ? 😧
I've been in a couple car wrecks, people have died, and seen cars engulfed in flames. Was never sure of the person got out of one of the cars..
But anyways never hit anything at 70mph that was dead stopped (aka that tree)
I've had a friend who hit a wall at 110mph , barley lived.
So consider yourself lucky. Watch who you drive with. their actions will affect your life. And remember your actions will affect others aswell.
