Trump's tariff war with China
On the latest business skirmishes with China, President Trump has mentioned that things are looking uphill from the current position. He insists that it would not be the consumers from the US that would be footing the bill for the import taxes, although the economists beg to differ. In an abrupt manner, President Trump had slapped a base rate of 10% on the tariffs for the $300 billion imports from China, which ended up stunning the financial markets, and kept many stock markets in a logjam. However, although President Trump sees the deadlock end, China has not planned to cut any prices to account for the tariff increase by the US. >>Source

Disney's report shows status of streaming war
Walt Disney Co, along with Viacom and CBS have placed emphasis on the increase in competition in the video streaming arena, which could end up sparking a volatility in the entertainment and communications sector, ever since it was overhauled the preceding year. The quarterly reports from Disney, Viacom and CBS for June has kept the investors wary of the rising competition within the video streaming arena with the stocks of Netflix tanking around 14% since it was last reported in July 2017. There are smaller companies like CBS and Viacom also building subscription based video services, which will take on the behemoths like Netflix and Disney, who is about to launch Disney + to the world. >>Source

Exxon Mobil records a sinking quarter
Exxon Mobil is looking at a bleak quarterly report with a drop of about 21% in their third period, which is on the back of consecutive results every year. The oil production was also drastically weakened due to the weak refining process, and Exxon Mobil also faced an onslaught in their chemical business. However, what can be considered a bright spot for Exxon was the increase in production from 3.9 million barrels every day to 7% increase. Their competition Shell posted a very small profit in their last 30 months; however, they had a very weak margin in chemicals and a noticeable loss in their refining capacity as well. >>Source

Group of Teens Get Held at Gunpoint on Live PD
This group of teens was being held at gunpoint by cops after neighbors had called them in saying they had a gun on them. After they were all apprehended, they found out the gun was just a CO2 gun that looked identical to a real one. The cops ended up letting them go and told them to be careful with that and to keep it inside the house at all times because it could easily be mistaken for a real gun. Thankfully nobody was shot or hurt during the altercation. >>Source

1917 Movie Official Trailer
This new upcoming movie called "1917" looks like it's going to be a war movie set during World War I. The story is about two young British soldiers who are to embark on the mission of their life. They have to deliver a message that would stop a devastating attack on hundreds of soldiers. If they fail this mission, all those soldiers will die. To deliver this message, they have to cross through enemy territory just to get that message delivered. The movie will be out worldwide on January 10th, 2020. >>Source

One of Hollywood's biggest stars, Idris Elba, is interviewed on Hot Ones. As usual, the show would ask many questions while the person being interviewed eats spicy wings, progressively getting hotter and hotter through the sauces. Idris soon feels the burn, and questions the idea during that entire show, and asks the guy if he can fight, jokingly of course.
